Likes
- No attendance issue on most lectures ( lab and practical classes is mandatory ), we can study at home for competitive exams. Building and furniture is good.
- No ragging, I don't even know my senior nor my juniors.
- It's good for those who are willing to self study
Dislikes
- Small campus and play ground. No proper equipments for games no extra curricular activities. Only few teachers fav students participate in some activities. Gym is closed always.
- No junior senior interaction. Very less events to participate.
- No social interaction in college life as we expect from a college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is almost same as other colleges. Difficulty level is easy as compared to other highly reputed colleges like nits, iits, jadavpur University. The improvement i want in the course curriculum is to teach more practical life application. And should often take for a visit of industry. Exams difficulty level depends on faculty who created question paper but generally it's easy.
Internships Opportunities
First of all I don't have internship experience bcz I'm in 2nd year. But i know there are many companies and more are adding. But i think the package is very less that's why they're not posting ads about it. If the package was higher then for sure chilla chilla ke sabko scheme bata dete.
Placement Experience
Many students are getting placed in company's from various courses you can check in their official website or Instagram handle. The package is not disclosed clearly. Many companies like tcs ,Accenture , Mahindra etc is there. Recently the college has invited Microsoft. Let's see what'll happen
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees is around 4 lakhs which is lower as compared to other colleges ( excluding exam fee, industry visit/ seminar fee ). Students with West Bengal domicile can apply for Swami Vivekananda scholarship.
Campus Life
I'm a mechanical student. I don't have any life. There are few events which are organised. I'm not interested because events are fun when there's social group. I don't have that. I don't even have the opportunity to show my talent.
Admission
No benefits even if you have cleared jee advanced. No benefits to any caste. Admission is very easy; it'll take half an hour. You can take admission and start studying the next day if the course has started.
Faculty
Average faculty, as we expect from a private college, but that doesn't mean they can't teach. Mostly Bengali-speaking teachers (lectures starts with English and end with bengali). So, there's a little communication barrier between teachers and students of other states. Otherwise they are cooperative.
