Course Curriculum Overview
The coding environment and the development things have inspired me to choose this course. It is best suited as practical approach helps us to realise the real world problems. Not much but the things can be done more focused towards the practice. The frequency and timings are also quite good.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible after 3rd year for placement. Atlassian visited our campus but had not made any offers. Average package is 7lpa and highest till date is 63lpa. Mostly around 90% students get placed every year. My plan is to join a good company and work there.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees are increased on three year basis and it may or may not increase in between also in the department of computer science. For other branches it is on 3 year basis. Complete cost is around 20 lakhs. Scholarship are based on the ranks in the entrance exams. I have gone throigh internship.
Campus Life
KIIT fest and carnival are there and also some society events. Books and journals are available other than course books also and they are provided well. Faculty and technology provision is also good. Sports and extracurricular activities are focused more and the results are also there from that. Many social groups are there to entertain.
Hostel Facilities
We are provided with ac and non ac rooms and they are good enough. Meal quality is somewhat compromised. For registration we just have to fill up a google form rolled during the time of admission. I haven't rented a room.
Admission
Eligibility is just we have 60% in our 12th grade and the application form is there on kiit official website and no application fees. No reservations benefits. Timings and frequency of exams is good. The exams should be less difficult.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is 1:80 and the learning experience is also good here as the faculties are very much supportive and they provide better helps in our academics other than the class timings also. The approach of teaching is also very good as they focus on practical and theoretical things in a balanced way. I interact with my teachers mostly as I am javing a good relationship with them and they help in my project works also.
