Likes

The environment and atmosphere of the college is great.
The infrastructure and the building are good and the teachers interaction with students are great
The syllabus of the college for engineering and the teachings are way better. Students can improve their skills in next level.

Dislikes

The food quality is below average. And the lunch is compulsory for everyone.
The college bus have more vibration. Not good for long travel and distance.
The college is good for studies. But not the comfortness of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the bachelor of engineering in computer science through tnea counseling. The college curriculum is pretty good for an average student. Students can improve their own skill and knowledge from the teachers. We got 3 exams before the semester. The last exam will be the full portion of the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

The college provide a great in internships opportunities for the students the students master show their skills and knowledge to the faculties so that they can place in a good company. The students are trained with the basic knowledge of general aptitude to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Placement Experience

The students are recognised by the teachers by their skills and knowledge. The placement are very good. The students should score higher CGPA to get a better placement. The college provides a great placement for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees of the student is rs.81,500 . The lunch is compulsory for all the students and it is about 21000. And the breakfast is 7000. The scholarship for students based on their community and the first graduate students. The internship and the placement of the students are good.

Campus Life

There are lots of symposium and culturals. Every department conduct the symposium every year .the students will participated in every competition. There are lots of clubs and club activities .students can improve their knowledge and skill. Sports day is also conducted for the students. Students from other schools and colleges will also participate in the sports day.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel for college students is average and male quality is not up to the level. The hostel fees of a student for a year is about 91000. They provide all 3 breakfast,Lunch and dinner. For the lunch meals is provided. The breakfast and dinner are provided like idli, dasa chapathi, Pongal ,puri.

Admission

I took admission through tnea counseling for bachelors of engineering in computer science. I got 151 cut-off with a good percentage. There is no entrance exam for the college admission. I got the first graduate scholarship.

Faculty

The qualification of the faculties are under requirements for the students. The faculties adapt themselves for the students to improve their skills and knowledge. The students can engage the faculty at anytime. They are always available for the students. For 60 students there are 10 faculties in ratio.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Best experience in college

I applied for the Aalim muhamad Salegh college which is in Avadi. In that college I have got ECE department. And parallely I have searched for the CSE or IT department in other colleges. Then I also got PEC with ECE dept then we approaches the college and we selected the IT department.I didn't got any rejections form other colleges which I have applied. There is eligibility criteria where u must secure above 85% to get CSE or IT dept or any other computer streams. There is no entrance exams.
