I liked the lush green campus of KIIT University ....quipped with all sort of clubs and societies and independent events ......
Society and clubs are very helpful and interactive to learn and grow while absolute student friendly labs are also good

Dislikes

Disliked the behaviour of lab teachers ....they are quite rude ,uneasy

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Cirriculum is updated and to the point not to worry about excess traumatization by teachers as 7 days will be sufficient to complete the syllabus up to date for exams....well designed syllabus.....

IBM teachnook microsoft through college clubs are organising drives and intership opportunities through emails for the role of web development app dev while many projects on real life are carried out by Google developer student clubs and microsoft learn student ambasador program

Placement Experience

College claims placement to be 100% ..but moreover it is 85-90% ...average package is 6 lpa ...but for CSE is higher around 7-8 lpa..after 6th semester..mostly comapnies starts to visit the campus and you are elgible from then only upto final year or 8th semester

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is lil bit high...likewise 6 lakhs per year including everything.....and scholarship is for the meritious children who have scored under 1000 rank in KIITEE ....exam which is conducted by kiit for admission in kiit ....likewise no such scholsrships are available

Campus Life

Campus life is quite healthy...as we get through handson experience. In many society and also in various games and cultural activities annually a cultural fest is carried out i.e called KIITFEST where various sort of celebrities and singers perform including various events to take part for free

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is quite good .. as it is classified into various types like normal room ac room premium room.. The differences are without ac ..with ac ..with ac and with washroom repsectively...meal is not so good but managable..as they cook only paneer most of the days....registration process is online....and all sorts of rooms are quite available

Hostel Fee: INR 145000 per year

Admission

I cam here through KIITEE examination as discussed earlier...the examination pattern is of moderate level....application form is free to apply and you can ask for slots for the exam in whichever you are free..Try to score as much as possible in exam to avail scholsrship

Likewise most faculty members had completed their Bsc Msc and Phd ..and published many research papers...many are publishing research papers while helping phd students too in their repsective specialization.. Teachers are well qualified from IITs ,NITs and GFTIs.

Likes

Faculties are very helpful they provide notes everyday what they teach
College students are friendly and affordable
They give many fests and cultural events

Dislikes

They discriminate between girls and boys always
Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

A journey that will help you learn a lot.

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

I like enhance my knowledge in computer and technology. I like to learn new ideas in google sheet and AI.
I like hiking and campaign in forest and mountain. And to go in long drive on bike.
Exploring new things which I don't know finding reason on natural phenomenon.

Dislikes

I dislike to follow people blindly. And doing as same
I dislike to worship god visit temple and any regional place.
I dislike to stay at home on vacation or holiday

Placement Experience:

After completion of 6 th semester candidates are eligible for campus selection. The highest you get around 20Lac per annum and minimum 5 Lac per annum. Around 30 % student get placed each year. Posco, sas motors, jindal, are coming company

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

KIIT Overview And The Reality

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
