Because of the structure of this college in which everyone emphasis on studies not in passing time or to have fun. I heard and got good reviews from everyone about this college and that was the main reason for choosing this college also my brother emphasized at this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am from the electrical background and I recommend to everyone who likes to work with courage because working with electrical appliances is not everyone's cup of tea. The person who is eager to work for the development of nation then engineering is one of the best ways.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, they provide internship and help those who are really eager to do so but for this, you have to be very humble and sincere to them.
Placement Experience
There are many companies which visit the campus at placement drive but very few of them are career enhancing because almost every company will offer you very little pay and also they are not your type that means you are an engineer and these companies will not offer you the right job.
College Events
Our college has very few events that one can enjoy because they always emphasis on studies, not on fun. We had only 1or 2 events that we really can enjoy but also they interfere in that also and come in the way of our enjoyment. Oly one yearly function organized by the college that is aarohan.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite good and doesn't really force students to make payment on the same day. We can submit fee in two installments and also one can submit it by both offline and online mode. Students should submit fee on time but if you get late then no worries in piet our registrar sir is just awesome.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of such a scholarship from college because I got the scholarship because of my rank in the rpet exam.
Campus Life
My Campus life was quite interesting, the Gender ratio is not that good but you will not be alone for sure. Extracurricular activities are only limited to studies and boring, labs are only for show off, sports activity are almost zero, but competition in academics is very good.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities of our college were not that good and the environment was very poor. The playground and garden are very little and one cannot easily roam around freely and also cant play in such a small ground. The Rooms are very little and messy.
Alumni/Alumna
Not that much help and also very few are really interested in these things and activities but if you are interested the college will support you.
Exam Structure
Exam structure of internal exams is quite good but in main exams that held outside the college is very poor and is really a matter of concern. No one is interested in your skills and talent, no one is concerned about your future but the only thing that depends is your marks.
Admission
I attempted rpet exam and then been allotted the college list. I chose Poornima institute as I heard about it from my friends. I came to Jaipur and visited the college, filled admission form and all the details. Then I submitted all. my documents with the form.
Faculty
The faculty was not that good because all of them emphasized on marks Not on skills and they always show fake strictness and boast about cutting attendance and all so I didn't like this attitude if them coz we are engineers and these guys required to work freely.
