Likes
- Exposure via many known guests and personalities and experts of various fees that interact and share their opinion regarding many things with students.
- Many clubs like shooting ,football,chess that are taken seriously here along with facilities for each of these sports
- Opportunity to become volunteer for various fests organizing groups.
Dislikes
- Water here is harsh in hostel, which causes a bit of hair fall.
- Except for rooms and academic blocks heat during afternoon times is great if there are no clouds sometimes. Rest of times due to many trees its cool.
- Strict gatepass system which ensures security of students but at same time troublesome for those who just wanna roam .
Course Curriculum Overview
Im in core computer science branch which allows me to have time to think and gather info about market trends so that i can later on easily and precisly choose my desired specialisation as its a very sensitive matter
Internships Opportunities
Many big companies such as blinkit,google, paytm, axis bank etc provide interships here. As i m in first year im not much aware of what kind of projects and roles are given but im certain that many projects and skills are developed before being sent out for jobs
Placement Experience
There are many exceptions here regarding placements and employbility. For interships students mainly start from their 3rd year but i know one student which is my senior that got an intership in their second year only since they had specific skills and colledge helped developing thier leadership quality and getting them the job
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall tution fee is set to 5,69,000. Along with a hostel fee of 11700 per semester. Additionally there is a caution or you can say admission fee of 20000 out of which 5000 is caution fee and 15 thousand is retuned by chance you found a better colledge. I was eligible for ms2+ scholarship with army ward fee waiver
Campus Life
There are many festivals which are organised by 4 main groups. Sinusois, TEdX, Hult and Ingenuity. Each have their respective feilds and how they organise events and you can even volunteer in them from first sem to learn many things
Hostel Facilities
In hostel rooms we are provided with cleaning services, pest control services, food services in case your sick. A medical facility thats just few meters away from our hostel. And if you have other issues wardens are just on ground floor of each hostel
Admission
I tried to take a drop year and focussed everything on jee but after not achieving the desired outcome in the examination i looked for alernatives such as upes, amity lucknow and niit. I chose niit for many reasons. One being their camp future program in which they showed many things about colledge that led me to choose it
Faculty
Faculty atleast for my own semester and batch are really interactive. They have great indepth knowledge of their subject and really focus on building concepts from basics even if students base are weak they dont get mad and interact very nicely with us. I would like to take name for all my faculty but some that comes to my mind are ganpath rao sir and Arghya sir.
Night Life
Gyms here open at both morning and evening . There are 3 of them and all of them provide great equipments and facilities. Diversity is a lot in cafeteria for students . Library is easy to access, have lot of materials and facilities we can use in them and punlic area consists of many shops that are usefull in d2d life
