1. Annual Fees for btech is 387200 per year. Total Tution fees for btech is 1548800. Acceptance fees is 20000. Caution Fees is 60000 (refundable for completion of course. Hostel and Mess charges are 185000 to 241800. (All amounts are in INDIAN RUPEE/ INR) 2. For schlorships, NIIT University offers a merit-cum-need filtering process. It ranges from partial fee waivers to 100% tution fee waivor. There are differant merit based Levels. Such as: MS 1 LEVEL: Rs 2,00,000 annual tution fee waiver. MS 2+ LEVEL: Rs 1,50,000 annual Tution fee waiver. MS 2 LEVEL: Rs 1,00,000 annual tution fee waiver. MS 3+ LEVEL: Rs 75,000 annual tution fee waiver. MS 3 LEVEL: Rs 50,000 annual tution fee waiver.
Campus Life
There are many clubs and events happening throughout the year at NIIT UNIVERSITY. The three major events are siNUsoid, TEDx and Hult Prize NU. The library also offers vast availability and accessibility of books.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms at NIIT UNIVERSITY are great. There are many facilities provided in the room like study table, chair, bed, almirah, shelves, pin board, daily cleaning, EAT, fire alarm, etc. Meal of the mess is good on some days and average on others.
Admission
I got comfirmed admission from Symboisis Pune, South Asian University (SAU), Manipal Jaipur, Jain University, and VIT-AP. I chose NIITUniversity over them because of the nature in/around campus, low intake and industry linked up to date curriculum.
Faculty
NIIT UNIVERSITY emphasizes close academic mentorship with its 5 level of mentorship. The university maintains a 10:1 or 11.8:1 student to faculy ration in engineering programes. The course structure is very industry-linked with 1year/6months of industry practice.
Interview Experience
During my admission process at NIIT UNIVERSITY, I had given a online test. The subjects that came in the test are english, physics, chemistry, maths and general aptitude. I had prepared for this test by solving more more questions beforehand.
Night Life
At the campus of NIIT UNIVERSITY, there are gyms, cafeterias, library and other public areas to hangout. The general timing of hostel is upto 11pm, but on fridays and Saturdays the night out timings are upto 2am.
