What Students Say

Likes

Amity has a lot of exposure and is one of the best in the field of biotechnology in india. One of the downsides of amity is that everything is taken very lightly here. the faculty is good but is absent a quarter of the times during peak seasons.
I liked the availabilty of an advanced sports field
the labs are pretty clean and have fundings too

Dislikes

I do not like the way the faculty does not show up in class
The placement of the campus is too far from everything
we have college till 6pm in the evening and 9 am in the morning

Course Curriculum Overview

AIBs curriculum includes coding subjects such as C++, java, Python, R language and many more. Our curriculum also includes subjects such as maths physics chemistry and Biological Sciences which further include microbilogy and bioanalytical techniques

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

You most likely need a good academic record, well crafted resume highlighting relevant skills and projects ad participation in training programs offered by various sites and companies. The university attracts reputed companies from various sectors

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee increases for every new semester by 10 percentage. Currently our total fee sums up to about 15 to 16 lacs for the entire course. For every new Academic fee is increased by a certain percentage

Campus Life

3.5

Amity Noida boasts a vibrant social scene with various clubs catering to diverse interests. The campus is well equipped with modern facilities, including well maintained classrooms, libraries stcked wiht books and journals.

Admission

There was a written and a video form of entrance where we had to provide our introduction in the form of out hobbies, plus points and downsides. I had given entrance exams such as JEE and CUET for the admission.

Faculty

2.5

All the faculty are phd scholars or teaching assistants . The faculty is nice but are not regualar to classes. There are also very few good teachers, especially the ones in the science department in AIB.

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

You are eligible for the course B.Sc. Hons biotechnology at Amity University, Noida if you have a verified mark sheet of your 12th with at least 50% marks in PCB and one language subject. There is no entrance test in this university until and unless you are applying for any kind of scholarship and all. There is a pre-defined fee structure that remains constant throughout your course period, with no increase or decrease in the amount. At the time of registration, once your application gets accepted by the university, you get a mail from the institution and everything regarding the fee and course duration will be mentioned in it. According to that one may decide to finally accept the offer letter or not. Everything is cleared before the admission process, which means before you accept the offer letter. Reservation is there but only for name sake, no scholarship is given on that basis to anyone. Everything is good in the registration and admission process. There are no bad remarks as such. The campus is very diverse and the faculty is quite helpful. The only thing that can or should be changed is the pattern of examinations. I remember in one of my semesters, we gave back to back exams due to which many students could not get a decent CGPA. Otherwise, exams are pretty straight forward and easy, if one attends the lectures and go through the notes provided by the faculty....Read More
