- The University infrastructure is very good.It is placed on a very beautiful area near kapurthala.It is a very valuable state university.
- The faculties are well experienced and well educated.They support the students very much for new activities and about new ideas.
- The placement of the University is good, if you are deserved you will get placed easy with good package.The most important thing is self development and self learning.This University gives you the opportunity to start a new startup.
Dislikes
- The manegement need to be improved.Some of the subject does not need to be in syllabus,but still they teach you those syllabus.
- The curriculum activities are held but the schedule is not good, you have to skip the class to attend most the events happening in the University
- The WiFi is not provided in the most of the University areas. Some faculties are not good and they don't teach you well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BTech in cse is a course that most of the students have choosen.The seats for btech CSE in PTU is very large. Of course the curriculum pushs the students to get well trained for the outer world. Some subjects should be removed from the syllabus because they are not any use in BTech.

Placement Experience
The students are mostly eligible for campus in 7th semester, they have to do internships to get trained for actual job. If the companies are not visited and student didn't get placed they can apply for offline that's what I thought. The average package is 4 lpa and highest package was 21lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees has increased this year for the session 2024-2025. The University provides scholarships on the basis of 12th marks some of them are Tution fee waiver TFW, Post matric scholarship for sc students and pre matric scholarship.The University takes some charges on the time of admission if you are applied for councelling in the form of councelling fee it will add in the academic fees.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant and diverse, offering students numerous opportunities to engage with their peers and participate in a variety of activities. The campus hosts several key festivals that are highlights of the academic year. There are also hackathon and many compatition here.
Hostel Facilities
Each room is equipped with essential furniture, including a bed, study table, chair, and wardrobe. Admission
First i registered for PTU and paid Rs 2000 after that I applied for councelling and on the basis of 12th marks i got the allotment letter and also got the scholarship of TFW.At the time of reporting i paid the academic fees and some day later hostel fees. Councelling fee was 2000 . For any query student can go on the PTU website for any information.
Faculty
The faculties members most of them are well experienced.They are very good with students.They are also very supportive and kind. The ratio of the students and faculties are appropriate or could say the ratio is good because there is a large number of faculties members here.
