What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure is good. With 4 blocks near to each other and 2 lifts in each blocks
The faculty are student friendly, the faculty are young and matches students vibe
Green campus with lot of space for enjoying and studying.

Dislikes

Some faculty are fresher leading to less understanding of topics
The follow of the procedure are not smooth. For each things the approval takes a lot of time.
The college canteen are not upto mark and costly.

The college is Autonomous so the course are restructured by college so there is changes in the course than other college. The course are normally mixed with the core and with little amount of interdisciplinary course.

The college provides placement traning from 1 year till the final year. College offer good placement with some company coming ranging from 3lac to 26lac. The college also provides guidance for higher education and also has mou singed with some university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in the college is comparatively same as compititve college in the surroundings. The scholarship is provided to Cristian minorities. Other scholarship from government of karnataka abd other scholarship can be applied.

Campus Life

The college organise 1 techno cultural fest called tira and 1 cultural fest called Millan along with sports day and other fests. College has numerous technical and non technical clubs, including robotics, racing etc. The college supports all the sports activity.

Admission

The college provides 40% seat for kcet, 30% seat for Cristian minority and rest 30% for management students. The management seats are nearly filled before the kcet seats are alloted. The admission process is simple. If management seat one can deposit 50% of fees and wait for the kcet result.

Faculty

The faculty in the campus are comprised of both freshers and experienced. The fresher faculty are not good in teaching leading to lack of understanding. There are some teacher with good teaching experience.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

I would rate 5 out of 5. I specially enjoyed being involved in activities like ego and Rns, which made my college life more engaging. College provides good atmosphere, and I got good friendship in the college.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
