Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

it is more of theory work rather than in practical, i opted this course for completion of b.tech, while chemical eng. is majorly of physics n maths and about chemical processes of the industries which eventually will help to get a job in processing unit.

Placement Experience

3

From 7/8th semester i.e. from final year onwards the placement cell is open. many companies visit to recruit students from nith. Last year the package was average 7-8lpa, and highest off-campus payout was 1.51 cr which was given to eng. physics student. I currently have not thought about placement in my campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure is mainly issued by national center as nit stands for national institue of technology. As far as fee is concerned, it is lower than any private college also the scholariship is available on some terms n condn. which can be viewed on website itself. And for campus placement, the scenario is like average you can get higher paying job by your skills not by your degree.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life at nith is ok-ok, you cant roam even in campus after 10pm it feels like you are living in a jail where students are doing 9-5 classes and going through all pressure. Also for first year you cannot go outside of hostel in starting for some months which makes us regret taking this college.

Admission

Admission is quite easy, it is on the basis of jee mains score. Majorly admission is done through jossa/csab or dasa counselling. Reservation isalso there for home-state and st/sc/obc students or ews. Also the document verification and admission process was smooth, i didnt face any difficulties but just make sure to carry all your originial documents along you.

Faculty

1

Faculties at nith are quite highly educated but mostly faculty age from 35+ so they dont understand the students problem. As far as cse dept is considered, their major faculty is young so they maitain a good coneection with students.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
