Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is average. It can be improved very much. I see that the curriculum is lagging behind in various aspects of the modern education system. The director and the HODs of the department must see this and make some improvements. First-year students are all treated equally according to their subjects. All students of the first year have the same subjects to study in the first two semesters of the first year.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are pretty decent in the college of National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. I would say some newer branches have more placement opportunities as compared to the older branches such as the Civil Engineering amd the Mechanical Engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good according to me. Where some colleges provide education for very high fees, this college provides education at a much cheaper rate, I would say almost half of the other private institutions. There are fee waivers according to caste based reservation system and also on the annual income of the family of the individual.

Campus Life

5

The overall experience in the campus is very good. There are two annual festa in the college. The cultural fest is hillffair which occur in the month of October and the other is technical fest Nimbus which is generally happened in the month of april or march.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel faculty is pretty decent. The first-year boys get the Kailash Boys Hostel. The attendees of this histel are good but there is a person who is not good and always strict. He was always busy putting on fines ln students.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy and simple to handle by the student. The cut-off of my college remains pretty mid-range you would say. My parents were with me when I first went to the college and they were not bothered by any issues during the admission process.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is of every age group. They are from hyst graduated people seeking experience to the senior professors who have libed half thier life teaching in the Institute. Several senior faculties are tecahing from around 39 years.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
