Remarks
Its is really a worth to join. It has experienced faculty, and lab are fully equipped with latest technology. When I came here in 2015, I was really very confused whether to take Poornima or not, but after stepping in Poornima I really thanks to my luck to let me enter in such a college.
Entrance Preview
Good mark is teacher behave as friend. They always don't burden to student. Poornima college is provide hall facility to students which they are required like wi-fi,net lab, library,peem classes,events,better education etc. The placements of this collage are also very good and have rtu 2nd ranking.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was good. In the complete 3 year I learnt lot of good things. Specially from practical labs . lab technicians had good knowledge and supportive. We had also good major and minor projects and gave chance to explore the knowledge what we have got from last 3 years
Internships Opportunities
No , there was no internship program. In poornima college many company are comes for placement like tcs,infosys,reliance com. Indian navy,army,ibm,wipro,nagairo,metacube many more.
Placement Experience
It was above the Average. But yes in year of 2002 and 2004 college had more placements . I also participated in more than 20 companies job fare ( in college and out of college). Companies was not much big but does not matter for your first opportunity
College Events
I forgot the names But yes a lot which encourage and motivate to learn new things. Every semester we used to have different type of educational , cultural ,techincal activities and also seminar and presentations and minor projects with the guidance of seniors
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee stracture is very good of this college because you can pay online fee. I must say feasible if we compare with other colleges. I also got scholarship as But transport and hostel facilities were expensive.every can not effort and force to live outside the campus and use public transport..
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholar was there for all students and yes also loan facilities provided which really required . If I remember EMi option also provided for the poor students
Campus Life
They were good.Labs were excellent. Specially in hostels lot of sports activities used to happen in weekends . In college also we had extracurricular activities like SKIT ,quiz, debates and a lot. They were really good learning and motivating for doing new things
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was very good the fees was more then 1 lakh for two years and the mess was very clean and hygienic food was given along with daily needed things. They provide daily differet food. In the morning they give breakfat lunch in afternoon, refreshment in the evening and dinner in the night.
Alumni/Alumna
Once in every year there is alumni meet. The senior were very supportive in college as well in hostel. The interaction was very good with senior. the senior were helpful in assignments and all
Exam Structure
semester have structured pattern of exams . Even not scheduled there was surprises test to evaluate the students . And all students may have extra classes if someone feels weak in particular subject . There are 2 midterm exam and final Rajasthan Technical University Exam.
Admission
I was scholar after completing Diploma and topped my college which is polytechnic college kota . Base on it I was selected as a scholar for pce in 2nd year ece branch and I was happy to get this college as it was one of the best college in Rajasthan.
Faculty
Faculty could be better . Mist of the faculties were from same college pass out and challenge of lack of knowledge and less experience of teaching.but yes the lab technicians were very supportive and always ready to help.i really appreciate their efforts .
