Course Curriculum Overview

I opt for computer science & Engineering. I always used to opt for computer science & engineering but at time of admission by going through GEU placement chart i am more bend towards cse. GEU curriculum are well planned for students and help student to learn real world applications. There are eight semester for this exam and i think its perfect to learn entire course.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many intership opportunity available in colledge . Colledge faculty provide intership in BSNL, Reliance and other good companies too.I have done my intership under the guidance of GEU faculty only. At intership i worked on ERP module in which i learn many new and challenging module.

Placement Experience

Placement in GEU are very good.Many MNC like accenture , wipro visit GEU for pool campus placement. HIghest package at my time is 7 lakh that is from L&T. I got offer from accenture & wipro both. Around 60% of student offered with job at colledge only.

Fees and Financial Aid

At my time semester fees is 70000-/ month and there are total eight semester so total semester fees cost me around 560000-/. Additional that 70000-/ year i have to pay for hostel.There is scholarship programme also on the basis of intermediate marks.

Campus Life

My overall experience was very excellent . What i am today is all due to Graphic Era University. GEU inducts many technical festival which helps student to learn and participate in new things. Library of GEU is very large and up to date.There are many student run social groups & student portals run in university under the guidance of GEU faculty

Admission

Admission Process is very fare and open . Admission is done on the basis of AIEEE rank and intermediate percentage.We have to prepare for engineering entrance exam to score well & get your favourite course in admission process. Admission Process is very long and very crowdy which university have to improve.

Faculty

Faculty in GEU is very great. They help student in each & every phase of life.Faculty to student ratio is around 40:1. Faculty in GEU helps student to learn theoritical as well as practical knowledge which help student to grow in there career smoothly.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

RIT ROORKEE - A great choice for education

Likes

i like the teaching methodology of the professors
the environment of the college is very positive
each & every faculty member are very helpfull

Dislikes

city area is small, but there is many things to explore
college is very strict about attendance but it makes you punctual
you will get limited opportunity but that are excellent

Placement Experience:

There is a separate & totally dedicated Traning & placement cell. In all branches they are providing excellence placement opportunities. in the last year of my btech, approx 50+ companies visited with great packages.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

Green Campus with Quality Training and Placement support

Likes

Campus environment and infrastructure is good.
The college fees in so affordable for bachelor degree.
Faculty and staff is quite supportive and so interacting.

Dislikes

Fines were taken by the campus on each and every smalls things.
Many restrictions were put on the students.
Library of the college ony having the books related to course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after 5th semester. Many companies visit to the campus for placement of students and hire them at good packages. The highest placement is of 84 LPA and the average package is around 5LPA. 96% of students got placed in companies.
