Remarks

Good is that management is tight as they mostly recruit army people and they actually provide u platform for brushing up your skills and proximity with NCR Delhi gives u opportunity for preparing something but don't rely on college placements for your future as this is will not give u fulfilling job at all

Entrance Preview

It has a good name in my area. According to yo my uptu rank this is the best I can get. I enquired about AKGEC, it is well established and has a good reputation among top 3 in private colleges in uptu AKGEC JSS KIET. According to ranking, atmosphere and management, it justifies its name.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course circullum is of UPTU which I don't find practical in any sense l. Engineering college should engage with industry for top-notch technology but I found nothing of that sort only in CS and IT field students have exposure and platform to learn like SI AND some other teams who actually share knowledge. Apart from that Kuka and ni courses was in process at that time for which you have to empty your pockets

Internships Opportunities

No they have not provided any industrial internships during my time but yes Kuka and ni courses were there and u can join them after paying a good amount as certificates of internship

Placement Experience

I don't blame them for placements at all. I think it is an average college and they did what beat they can do. But yeah please don't have many expectations and be realistic. I started studying in 4th year for the gate and then joined nit Warangal for masters though I got placed Infosys. But the reality is that job is neither fulfilling nor enough for your future if you are non-cs it

College Events

Tech Trishna technical fest Cultural Fest Scrolls paper presentation Table tennis tournament In technical, there is a lot of competitions on robot race boat race all electronic items it was fun. During cultural fests dance singing and a lot of other activities happen like nukkad and plays. A lot of events keep on running parallel and college do spend money on these occasions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is really expensive but it is not like they are asking more. Whatever top-notch uptu colleges are following they are following the same. I will not say they are asking more or ingenuine but the from perspective of a middle-class person they are expensive

Fees and Financial Aid

Sorry I have not availed any scholarships and college does not offer any loan but yeah one of my friends has taken a loan for engineering and he got it easily

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty okay. The gender ratio is the same 3:7. Lab's sports competition debates yeah u will find everything. If compared to other colleges in Meerut region I must say they have good Exposure and they spend a good sum on every activity and being in proximity with NCR they got some talented bunch of chaps also

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities for 1 st year are awesome then after that, they are okay, not great at all. Mess of all the hostels ia more or less same. Though I want to say I like the food in 1 st and 4 the year more. And night food is pathetic but afternoon food ia okay. Though college doctor keeps on checking food quality and wardens will eat in the same mess

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni connect is up and running but there is actually a good amount of people from Lucknow side in our college so u have to social to connect with seniors to take their help although I was a bot silent chap so mostly kept isolated

Exam Structure

Yeah, there is rigorous exam structure. You have to go through a lot of exams. There are class tests then ST1 ST2 THEN MID SEMS then FINAL seems. Once we calculated in our fourth year and to our surprise we have given more than 500 exams and still, there is no promise that u will score well in finals because of uptu checking

Admission

According to my uptu rank chances are on marginal. So I tried to book a seat before counselling because I got yo know that they offer management seats on basis of your 12th marks so to be at the safer side, I tried that route and I was pretty much successful in occupying a seat electrical n electronics after personal interview from director itself

Faculty

The faculty is kind of okay okay. I can give them out of 10 because they are more indulged in completing the middle courses which can give u marks in papes and u actually neither feel confident or an engineer after passing out. But obviously, for some teachers, u will get a feeling of respect.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
