Likes
- Limited seats are available so professors interact with everyone.Professors are really good in nature . They cant forrce you to attend their lectures and attendence criteria. They are very helpful qnd kind towards you they support you.
- Campus is very huge. University has 6 gates and very huge space also thecampus is fabulous its environment is very friendly and full of greenery. Its has all kinds of facilites like wifi different labs library etc canteen food is very tasty
- There is separate department for masters also it has separate mba department that is LUMBA where serveral companies came for the placements of students like amazon wipro tcs etc masters degree is very helpful from lucknow university as its well know
Dislikes
- Placement rate is very low . There was not much of the companies interested to come to college for recruiting. There are no internship facilites for students at all .
- Various advanced tech courses are not in the main campus of lucknow university like bca bba btech mtech and so on .
- There is very rigid and time packed schedule throughout the year. There is no fest and cultural events which makes the college life boring also lack of sports opportunities in my university
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite nice becoz we mostly do theory concept . I met with lots of new persons and teachers they way they teach is vey good. But sometimes teachers cant take the scheduled class on time . Exams are conducted on time and they are of moderate level of difficult questions . For improvement i think professors used to teach with the help of projector or laptops or using boards with the help of diagrams.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am currently pursuing bcom which costs around 4000 every 6 months. fees are very affordable so everyone uses them to pursue their goals. Scholarships are provided to the students There is no extra increase policy with fees. But there 9s a lack of internship opportunities so stipend was not given to the students.
Campus Life
A wide range of books are available in the library. One who has a liberty card can access the books in the library. Various students run social groups on campus for promoting and awareness purposes some run offline groups through WhatsApp so that everyone gets to know the necessary details about what's going on in the university. There is a special department for sports NC which takes care the sports activities also there is a special group called Adamya which takes care of extra extracurricular activities.
Admission
For UG there is entrance exam which is conducted by university of lucknow . On the basis of entrance merit list candidates are selected . There is some reservation person who are coming from the sc st obc and ews background . The entrance exam goes easy to difficult level of questions but over and all it is moderate level of difficulty pattern. I ll suggest the university to take personal interview round according to the particular course.
Faculty
Currently, the Faculty and student ratio is 1:70 at Lucknow university but it is preferred to have a 1:50 ratio between teachers and students. Teachers can easily get to know individual student weaknesses and strengths. There are no difficulties connecting with teachers but sometimes they are very busy so can't even understand our problem. Some teachers are taught uniquely with the use of slides share and projector which helps students to und the concept very easily.
