The educational environment is very good. Canteen food should be improved and cost should be reduced.
Entrance Preview
The infrastructure of the college is too good, one of the best in West Bengal you can say. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful. And the course package of the college is less compare to others college. The laboratory and workshop are very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is one of the best parts of this college. The course curriculum is done according to Machaut syllabus. The class period starts at 9:30 am and it ends at 5:30 pm. There is a break for 30 min in middle for lunch. Two internal exams occur in each semester.
Internships Opportunities
No, this college does not give you the stipend. But if you are sc St OBC category, you can get the stipend.
Placement Experience
will give seven out of ten for No. Placement in my branch i.e civil engineering is not so good. But the other Branch's like Electrical engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics is good compared to civil. But this year Civil good very good placement.
College Events
There are so many cultural, social and educational event is occurred in every year in the college. At the starting of the odd semester, Fresher's welcome ceremony is done. After some day teacher's day is celebrated in every department. In the even semester, there are sports events and Annual Fest is taking place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure not so high also not so low in this college. I will call it mid-budget college but u will get a high return in comparison to package. U can give semester fee in every six months also in every three months. If you want to good educational friendly environment but your financial condition is slightly weak, this college perfect for you.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know too much about it. Because I never tried for this. But as far I know in case of taking the bank loan, a college will help you by giving required documents.
Campus Life
Campus life is very enjoyable here. The college environment is very good. There are so many seminars take place in our college. At the time of the teacher's day, the annual cultural program there are so many events like quiz, debates, dance, songs etc occurs.
Hostel Facilities
In this case, this college will get some negative marks. Hostel environment is very good and too much secured but it is slightly expensive. Food quality is good but it is also costly. In the case of ladies hostel, it is too much secured and disciplined.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no official alumni network in the college. But the behaviour of the senior students is too good and the relationship between senior and junior is very nice.
Exam Structure
There is 4 set of exam take place each semester. At the starting of the semester after classes of the 7-8 week, a 1st internal exam is taken. After that at the end of the syllabus, near of semester exam, another internal exam takes place. Then before the semester as per Makaut date, the Practical exam is taken, then the Semester wrote occurs.
Admission
I took lateral entry in this college after completing my diploma course, by the entrance exam named JELET. In the counselling process, I choose this college. Then the counselling authority gives me the documents for admission in the college, the next day I came into college with proper documents and the admission fee. By completing the admission process and other formalities I got the admission.
Faculty
This is the reason for which I will recommend to take admission in this college. The faculty members are very skilled and too much helpful. They are always ready to help in the class as well as other time in college period. There is exactly period in routine for faculty contact for clearing doubts in classes.
