Entrance Preview
Actually, I haven't scored very good marks in the entrance exams. I was looking for an engineering college with a nominal fee structure. As this college is situated in Delhi NCR it fixed in my criteria. The college is situated very nearby to Gurgaon. Also, the infrastructure is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college curriculum is based on Maharshi Dayanand University. They have a good team of teachers and infrastructure is average quality. The MDU University is famous for mass backs and has a unique marking system. Here the passing marks are set to 40 in theory subjects.
Internships Opportunities
No, the college lacks in this field. We were given the internship letter and were asked to find the opportunity by ourselves.
Placement Experience
The placement is not up to the mark. Although many companies visit the campus and recruit some of the students on larger aspect, most of the students are not placed. There were some companies which were offering pavements with the salary packages averaging 2-3 lakhs per annum.
College Events
The college organised a fresher party at the beginning of the session. Although most of the arrangements are done by the seniors. There is an annual fest organised by the college with the attractive competition in different domains. There is a sport meet also organised by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The most attractive part of the college is the fee structure. The course fee of B.tech courses is 75000 annually. The hostel fees are 5000 monthly with the standard accommodation facilities. Since it is situated very nearby to Gurgaon most of the students reside in Gurgaon.
Fees and Financial Aid
They have tied up with several banks which provide educational loans. There are no scholarship facilities available in the college.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. You would find a canteen, A big playground. There are several activities going throughout the year. Although there are some extracurricular activities happening in the college. But they are not regularly held. The college environment is good.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are of average quality. The hostels are situated inside the campus which is lush green. The hostel has different accommodation facilities like AC room, double accommodation and three accommodation. The food facilities are although average.
Alumni/Alumna
The best thing which I find in this college is the seniors. They had helped me a lot and still they guide me regularly.
Exam Structure
The exams are based on Maharshi Dayanand University and are conducted in the guidance of University. In each subject, 50 marks are awarded for internal exams conducted by the college. The 100 marks are for University papers which are solely conducted by the University.
Admission
I got the admission through the Haryana state counselling based on AIEEE. Also, the college has its own admission test through which they accept 20-25% students. During our admission, there was a surge in college admissions which bettered in past years.
Faculty
They are average. Some of them are very experienced but most of them have very less experience in teaching. The college lacks advanced practical facilities. Although some of the faculty which uses to us are placed in different places in the present times.
