Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Courses are not so hard it's divided into different parts and semester course difficulty level depends upon each semester so if you study each semester then it's very easy to complete the course at the end and the examination level is also not too hard if you study well then you can definitely crack it. very easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

Different courses have different fee structure you can start from 2 thousand to 8 thousand it always depends upon the department's semester and courses. examination fees are also not too high it's very affordable for every student .my total course fees is less than 25 thousand and I got a scholarship of 36thousand 18000 in every year and any student can avail of this scholarship if they have secured above 60 percent marks in previous course.no they don't provide any employment or stipends.

Campus Life

5

The first function is the freshers' party which is held just after admission and verification are completed then in March month there is a huge celebration of Holi in which a very popular celebrity comes and spreads magic in the function by their performance. and then the annual function Saraswati puja and so many functions like that. There is also available a large library with infinity no. Books. They also organiser so many events regarding sports and extracurricular activities. There are speakers and monitors availed in every classroom for lectures. every classroom has its own group for information of important activities and it gives us pleasure to attend classes.

Admission

There is no entrance exam the admission process and cut-off depends upon your marks and sometimes on the reservation policy. The admission process is also very easy you just need to fill out the examination form and go through a verification process and that's it. They conduct an internal and an external exam every semester and the marks are divided into practical and theory exams.

Faculty

5

The faculty is really very experienced in teaching and also having PhD degree in their field the department has minimum 10-15 students on one teacher and they are very interactive to the students definitely we have a large age difference but never feels like that they have a friendly behavior.you can ask so many questions also in class and after class and they answer very sweetly.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
