Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is not that much broad, It is brief and In my department I found Ancient history and Archaeology is very interesting. There's alot of things to know about our past ,we study about architecture and monasteries, and intersting sites so there's is a lot of fun and interst in this course In my time due to covid our semester timings are not for 6 months our exams were held in 3-4 months so that time we face alot of problem but that's ok Now everything is going so smooth

Fees and Financial Aid

In my time fee structure was 1600 for one year of masters in Art and for both year is totally 3200 But after increasing the fee now the fee structure is 5800+ per year accept this there is not other charges for practical or viva Scholarships are also provided by government there is some other scholarship are available for different different kind of person

Campus Life

4

My overall is good and I love the nature and peace of the campus. During my time some department are renovating and now the campus looks fabulous and coming to this nature everyone have feel some changes in their life. College fest are too good and have so much fun with friends it happens in 6 months In campus Facilities is too good Water facility is good Book and journals easily available in library. Library is also so big and alot of books and research papers are available . In faculty projector and board are available . Monitors are available in Library. Extracurricular activities also offered games were held and in hostel we celebrate small fest with friends

Admission

Eligibility for MA Ancient Indian History course is , you have completed your graduation and you can easily find the application form on NTA website . Now this exam will be conducted by NTA through CUET PG exams. Reservation criteria is fix for some categories and exams were held in 6-6 month gap and difficulty level is not that much high if you studied properly then you can do better in your exams. And admission process is also so smooth but one the process is a little bit slow I think this should be changed and done it fastly

Faculty

5

The faculty was good and very friendly staffs in department, Students and teachers ratio is good according to course, there's not specific only one section, there's different sections available for different different course and 60-70 students in each section so that's not a big deal. Faculty teachers are very supportive they teach properly and they are very friendly so students don't have any certain kind of problem related to this Teacher are available for students all time when you have some doubts then go and ask there is no boundation, in classroom they teach properly and if someone has issues or want to ask something then they explain in very better way

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

The admission is on the basis of graduation marks. The college allocates seats strictly on the basis of the academic record of the person. The college is closest to my home, that’s why I chose this college to be my first choice of graduation.

Remarks:

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting.
