Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and Communication Engineering has global scope and has multiple opportunities where students aren't aware of.It takes a righteous decision and hardwork to get into the core job.But once we grab it, we can earn ample amount of money.As this course requires most of the real world application it's important to attend workshops where our college provided few of them.But focusing much on IT field, I think our college can give equal importance to both core and non core companies. ECE is quite difficult to learn but it is interesting. Weekly we have a test conducted by the teachers, to gain better understanding in the concepts.
Internships Opportunities
Cognizant offered Internship for the students for the position Programe Analyst Trainee. They have provided 12k as stipends for 6 months. I worked in the DOTNET domain and based on it our projects were assigned to get the permanent job as Programe Analyst Trainee.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements only during their final year. Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Foxconn and many such companies were involved. I got two offers from Cognizant and Wipro. Highest salary package- 8 lakhs, average salary package- 3.5 lakhs per annum. More than 85% students have been placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees are bearable for both counseling and management students. I have gone through counseling and hence my total fees was around 1.25 lakhs per year which includes tuition fees, transport, mess(breakfast, snacks,lunch),where transport and mess is compulsory . I worked as an Intern in Cognizant got offer through my campus placement and received a stipend od around 12k for 6 months.
Campus Life
No extra curricular activities are given much importance as compared to the academics. We have only college day once in a year. Our college has large library where students can easily access the books,e-learning were provided. Our college infrastructure is well maintained with clean and green campus.
Admission
I have got admission through TNEA counseling based on the merit, expected cut off was 175 where my cut off was around 180, where easily I was able to get my admission in the college. Admission process was not tedious
Faculty
I can interact with my teachers very often as they are ao friendly and approachable at all times. They give keen attention to each students and try to teach them till the students grasp the concept.Most of the teachers aren't strict.
