What Students Say

Likes

College campus is very beautiful and big.
You can find a lot of places to hangout with friends nearby.
You have the choice to select for morning or evening batch .

Dislikes

In summers , the place gets really heated up and can be difficult to settle.
Mess food is not that good but cheaper foods are available.
If you live in hostel , for the first two years you have to come strictly before 7:30 PM

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose cse because of its scope. Uni prepares us for real world applications by encouraging us to do projects. The freequency and timings of exam are normal and the difficulty level is easy to moderate ehich helps us to work towards it.

Class Size: 88Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I havent grabbed an internship yet . But my friends are foing internship in High radius and they are getting paid 17k a month for it. You can probably do a project with your peers and solve some real life problems and that will be sufficient to put in your resume.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for the internship and placement process from 6th semester.Companies like High radius , TCS, infosys visits uni to take students for internship and placements. Kiit provides placement to approx 75% of students . My plans after the degree is to get a job and go with the flow of life

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester fees is 175000 . On a total span of 4 years total cost would be around 22-24 lakhs in kiit. If you get under 1000 rank in KIITEEE exam you would get scholarship. Also if you score 10 gpa in a semester , the uni provides you scholarship. Many companies including mass recruiter come in kiit and you could apply for internship/placement based on tgeir requirements.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual fest happens generally in February or January in college. There are many sports and extracurricular centers in college and students are free to register in the games they like. There is a wide range of books and accessibilities available in the library and it is all free to access.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

You can either get three bed hostel room or two bed premium hostel rooms. Hostel provides you with your personal table, chair and an almari to keep your stuffs. There are both ac and non ac rooms available in kiit. Mess food depends from hostel to hostel and is average to good.

Hostel Fee: INR 72000 per year

Admission

You can register online on the kiit uni website for admission. You can either give KIITEEE exam and get selected or you can take admission through jee mains score in kiit university. Personally i don't think there is any requirement for modification in the admission process.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio is apt in KIIT university. Faculty are nice and are open for you to ask them questions and solve them. You can call the faculties and ask them to meet and you will get the opportunity the same day till 6:00 am as the faculties are present there .

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
