Entrance Preview
Location of JISCE is very good. It is not far from my college. Many of my knowns have graduated from this college. Placements records are quite well. And this college has a good reputation in terms of faculty, curriculum and job opportunities, and placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum can easily be assessed through the college website. And we have another option to get our course curriculum through a website which is entirely run by JISCE students. This website is very helpful. It has a course curriculum, previous year question papers.
Internships Opportunities
No, college does not provide internship on its own. But college does have a special training Program. Eligible students from 3rd year can go for 15 days training in Bangkok free of cost.
Placement Experience
JIS college provides ample opportunities for its students to get a highly paid job. From 3rd year starting college organize extra classes for aptitude and quantitative training, communication classes. And college also arranges a special class for coding.
College Events
Freshers are celebrated each year for juniors. College also celebrates its foundation day each year. Then we have Tech Fest each year. Teachers day is also celebrated. Farewell is celebrating great enthusiasm for final year students. And for a pass out students college organizes convocation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College fee structure is feasible and not so expensive. I have joined the college in 2015 and my fees approx 44K Each semester. Total cost for competition course is 4 lakh approx. Each semester we have to pay 1000 for examination. If someone is from a poor background college have a facility of TFW category.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various governments scholarship are providing to the eligible students. Scholarships for Minorities, ST/SC and OBC is offered. Students can also avail loan facility.
Campus Life
These are the happiest phase Of my college days. I will really miss my college days That I enjoyed every moment In the past 3 years. The gender ratio is 60/40 approx (Male/female). College provides ample Opportunities in extracurricular activities. Lab of each department is very well equipped with the latest equipment.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. Hygiene maintains within the hostel campus. Workers and hostel warden are helpful. Food quality maintained and each day of the week we have different menus. Hostel campus has a Playground, equipped with a Volleyball court, Badminton court.
Alumni/Alumna
College alumni network is very good. And if any student wants to join, he/she can easily join whenever they want. Alumni Network is very Helpful.
Exam Structure
JIS college follows semester exam pattern like any other engineering college. Semester exam is of 70 marks for each paper. In each semester there are 2 internal exams of 30 marks each. The average of this 2 exam is taken. And gives grace marks are there for attendance.
Admission
After completion of my class 12, I had also appeared for AMPAI along with WBJEE. AMPAI is an entrance exam conducted by JIS GROUP. I secured 116 ranks in AMPAI so I preferred AMPAI instead of WBJEE. I was called for counseling in the 1st round. Counseling was simple and all my documents were verified thoroughly.
Faculty
College faculty can easily be assessed during the normal working day of college. We can also contact faculty personally on calls and what's app-filled we have any doubts or issue. For each 4 to 5 student we have a mentor (faculty), who is always in contact with His students.
