Remarks

Cut off is generally high around 60000 rank in jee mains is the required to get admission in PEC. but recently it has been going down, making it easier to get into PEC. Admission is done through JOSSA AND CSAB, and the process is smooth

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is very diverse. No matter the branch , 1st year has collective subjects which include coding to maths to economics to humanities. After 1st year classes align more with the core subjects of the branch while still having other subjects.

Internships Opportunities

3

Opportunities varies from tech roles to non tech roles. A lot of companies come on on campus internship opportunities such as Amex, microsoft, bain ,McKinsey, LEK, ZS Associate , JP Morgan CADP AND CIB.

Placement Experience

3

Placements have been good for the past years , in my year it was below average due to recession. Campus placements start in the last year. Usually 70/80 percent students get placed. I am planning for an Ms.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure - 180000/yr Academic fees - 160000/yr Admission fees - 5000/yr Other facilities - 20000/yr Scholarships are offered to EWS candidates. Top scholars in each respective branch are offered scholarships by PECOSSA.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is great , a lot of clubs to join. You can join any club which aligns with your interests. College campus is small and infrastructure is old , it has been improving as of lately. Atheletic meets are help each year

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculty was qualified and were great at teaching. Faculty to student ratio was 30:1. But the change in faculty was quite frequent. Faculty left the college and new faculty joined very frequently. Approaching and interaction with faculty happened very often. Faculty is very approachable .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course plan around 7 out of 10 in terms of relevance and depth. I chose this course mainly because it includes core tech subj like DSA, DBMS, OS, AI and cloud, which are useful for jobs in tech field. The presence of lab work and proj based learning also influenced my choice. The curriculum gives a fair base in theory and basic prac skills. It helps in campus place prep and also builds base for higher study like MTech or MS. But real world skill still depends a lot on self study, online course and side proj. Some topics feel updated, but a few subj are still too theory heavy and not linked to real case use. Exams are held twice as mid test and once as end term in each sem. There are also quiz, viva and lab eval. The level is moderate. If you attend class and revise notes, it is manageable. For improve, more live proj, hack event, ind visit and case study should be added. Teach method should shift more to code demo and less slide read
