Likes

The students here at North cap University are well discipline and well mannered and teachers are also well support
They also have tieups with many institute outside India and help us provide internship outside India and jobs placements too
It is a very clean and green campus and is located in between the city

Dislikes

There is no proper connectivity the area is developed but the cab fee is very high here
They are very strict and it feels like we are back to school again

Course Curriculum Overview

In the first year we are required to study all the basic engineering concepts like physics chemistry maths and after the we start learning about the specialisation which we opted and in my opinion it is very well structured and well organised

Internships Opportunities

They also provide internship domestically as well as internationally based on your performance in your miners and major test and they also have types with many foreign cities and companies which I think is a very good opportunity for the students and so far till my knowledge the placement and internship they provide a very good and it is mandatory for every student to participate in at least one into one shape in their second year as it is a part of our curriculum

Fees and Financial Aid

Here the fees for b.tech CSE is about 3.9 lakhs per year and we have to pay the semester wise which means 1.65 lakh per semester And this fees increases every year by 3% I think the fees here is slightly on a higher side which could have been low.. There are scholarships also but which are very hard to achieve

Campus Life

Here in ncu every single club every single facility which are here are maintained and fully functional also the sports facilities is very good they are we equipments for sports and the cultural clubs are also very great and well treated so to conclude the facilities here are justified for the fees they ask

Admission

The admission process at the north cap University for BTech is as follows They combine your foods / class 12th marks and JEE mains percentile and the ratio for both is 40 60% which means 40% board marks and 60% JEE mains percentile and they make their Ncu score according to which they gave admission and few don't qualify that or you haven't appeared for JEE mains you still have a chance to get in this college but they will take a personal interview and if you qualify in that interview you are eligible to get the admission in this college

Here every teacher and professor are PhD holder and they are very well educated and well mannered and very cordial with the students and the behaviour of the staff is also very good and the ratio between the faculty to students is also good and the professors and teachers are very approachable and ready to help in every situation

Interview Experience

Yes there is an interview but only for some students who doesn't full fill the requirement of the ensure which is again the mixture of your boards class 12th boards marks plus your JEE main score (40+60) and the interview will also take place if you haven't given JEE main and if you qualifying the interview then only you are eligible for getting and exhibition at the north cap University

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - worth it in the big 26 ?

Likes

The variety of food, books and lush green gardens
The quiet and pleasant places carved feels like home
No need to rush things the warmth in the air and the affordable rates

Dislikes

Due to rural surroundings often things like traffic jams and riots happen
Langauge barriers do occur sometimes but its okay now
Attendance criteria is strict and on-off campus roaming is a little hard

Placement Experience:

Around 4th year 7th semester students are well prepared and ready to go into companies for more insights and experience. Companies like Kia, Indigo, Hero, Honda are quite active in selecting students from our department. After the degree ill prolly do my masters and then ill look fir a job

Campus is very big and many things to explore
We have Good infrastructure and sports grounds
There are many canteens and varieties of food available

Dislikes

Location is not on road it is back side of a village
College is till 5 pm in evening and it gets very hectic
Hostels are not good Very small rooms and

The curiculam is quite good and classes are placed accordingly we have good break in between and its quite enjoyable to attend college regularly The fest and programs are amazing it is good for a student

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

The University provides when you opportunity for learning activities and over all development

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

Truth of NCU(The NorthCap University)

I didn't chose this college, I was forced by my parents to join it as they had heard that it was one of the best Engineering colleges in gurgaon. If i knew how the college really is, in my wildest dreams i would not have taken admission in it. I have not got rejection from any college. Admission process is very simple, if you have money you get admission. There is no elegibilty criteria, only money matters here. They are so low on there morals, they now treat students as atms. no focus on study, bad environment, worst crowd,no managment, not safe for girls, etc....Read More

I applied for IPU but my family didn't wait for the results from that college that am I selected or not. other students of my age were getting admissios so they wanted me to also get admitted as soon as possible. They also didn't want that I stay away from home so this was the closest college and in gurgaon it is better than any other college. so I tried here I and I got easily admitted. this was actually not ony list but here I am. Inside the northcap university- the real deal

I applied only to direct admission colleges i didn't really apply to any but yeah considered the ones near my place like kr manglam and gd goenka, i also thought about amity or bennet which are in noida but i didn't apply to them as they were far and gd goenka and kr manglam were charging more fees . Northcap was the cheapest and the nearest so i applied to this college only. I just filled the admissions form online paid the fees and got admitted as i said its a direct admission college so they take in just anybody but still my class's strength is only 27 lol not a very good college overall but the cheapest sooo.
