My review for Ymca Faridabad

I chose electronics and computer engineering as it is a mixture of both. you've more opportunities as yyou can go in computer as well as electronics career. in our class we've 73 students +leet (in second year lateral entry). The faculty here is well qualified. all the professors has done phd and many of them are from IITs. they also went to foreign for research puposes.

There are many internship opportunities offered during the placement season. There is a compulsion to do internship in your 8th semester as industrial training. You can get a good internship along with pre placement offer from here

The placement here is just average. Not very big companies come here. There are companies which give salary packages around 8to 12 lpa. But there are also many companies who offer 5 to 8 lpa. There are many job opportunities but the package they offer is very low. The students from computer engineering gets olaced more because of the CGPA criteria and branch constraint.

The fees here is normal In 1st sem, the total fees is around 55k without hostel and in 2nd sem the fees is 45k you've to pay around 95k yearly there are several scholarship for students The placements and internships here are very good and you get stipend from 20k to 1lac per month.

The overall experience was decent. I made very good friends here. The social life at clubs is amazing. You can make a great network there with people who share same interests. The infrastructure, faculty and syllabus is very poor, don't expect any help from the college. You have to do it on your own to become successful

The admission process is based on jee mains score. The news regarding admission form, fees and dates is given on hstes website and also on jc bose ust website. There are 2 ways of getting admission in the college. 1st is through hstes. This is a online counseling where you can fill the form and preferences of colleges and branches and based on your mains score, you're alloted a seat 2nd way is through open counseling of the university, this is a physical counseling where you've to come to college and the counseling process is done. Usually the cutoff is lower than the online.

The syllabus followed here is very very old same goes with the faculty. They are just classic government professor who are rude. They do no give accurate grades which a student deserves.
