Remarks

Some teachers are overrated. They have many names around but have much attitude.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very rigorous. But you can also score good marks by some processes like visiting teachers cabins more often or taking personal tuitions. Some students of our batch do so and so I know about that. Besides that, the teachers are great. The exam is structure is poorly research driven and not many teachers prefer activities over book reading.

Placement Experience

The placement is the main reason I joined KIIT UNIVERSITY. A full one year of placement related activities takes place.

College Events

There are many societies in the college which performs their individual annual fests and the main KIIT fest takes place. Apart from that, many religious activities like Saraswati Puja, New years of many religions and states, their activities take place.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for a loan, but you can certainly avail it from the finance of the university by writing a mail to them.

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty good. The schools are somewhat far away from some hostels and KIIT advertises that as physical activity to reach college walking from their hostels. You can certainly join a society according to your choice and work they are, like robotics society, painting, dancing, debate and many more.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, the seniors are very much helpful. They discuss all the things required for placement and they always think about the betterment of their juniors.

Admission

The admission process was pretty straightforward, you give KIITEE entrance exam, wait for the exam results and then you will receive an email regarding your counseling slots, which will depend on your KIIT entrance exam marks. You have to report to KIIT campus 6 auditorium which is the main auditorium for the college.

Faculty

The facilities are pretty well educated in their fields. You might get full knowledge about the subject if you listen and attend their classes regularly and pay attention to them. If you are attending due to attendance only, don't attend as their will not be any problem due to low attendance

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

I did not apply for other colleges. Before getting admission in KIIT I did hear good reviews about the college and placements here so I applied for the CSE course here. The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
