Remarks

No there is no bad remarks about the college management.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes it is very relevant and the exam of the institution gives standard paper for which you need to study otherwise you cant score good enough and the course curriculum also helps a lot for the overall development of the student. The exams consist of a mid sem and end sem in a single semester with internal assignments and projects.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is good as most of the seniors are placed and college also provides internship though I haven't taken it from college as I applied to some other company.

College Events

There are many events celebrated in the college throughout the year starting from college fest (KIIT FEST) to Suhana Safar which is a singing and dance event based on Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar. Also, E-Summit is conducted then MUN, Chimera, Kritarth, KIFF, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any loan or scholarship. So I don't have any idea regarding how one should avail it.

Campus Life

Campus life at KIIT is awesome. The gender ratio is 60:40. The sports ground, auditorium everything is very awesome. Even the cricket ground of the college is very nice and Ranji Level matches are played here. Players like Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane visited here to play for their state teams.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is nice and the food is also good as compared to other colleges. There are different types of hostel starting from 3-bed Non-ac to 3 Bed Ac also 2bed ac is also available. Attached toilet and bath facilities can also be taken if someone wants.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful if you respect them as your seniors. They will guide you on what to do and what not.

Admission

After getting the KIITEE result, on their website there were counseling dates provided when I had to appear with 75k DD. After that, the counseling process was very smooth and I got the branch that I liked and want to pursue. The process included checking of mark sheet of 10th and 12th.

Faculty

The faculty of the college are highly educated. All have Ph.D. degree though some teachers are very good and they can make. The classes were very much interesting as compared to other teachers. The teachers are very friendly and share a good teacher-student relationship.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

I did not apply for other colleges. Before getting admission in KIIT I did hear good reviews about the college and placements here so I applied for the CSE course here. The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
