Likes

Faculty is well experienced and cooperative.
Friendly environment and canteen food is hygienic.
They provide various internship programs this helps in skill development.

Dislikes

Less placements and the package offered is not satisfactory
lack of good infrastructure and washrooms are not well maintained
Our campus is very small and there is no sports other than volleyball.

1. I joined MA economics because I finf it interesting. 2. This course and the way they teach I dont think this will help and prepare us for real world applications. 3. They should focus on clearing basics and then teach advance. 4. There should be a proper way of taking exams.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 64000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1. My per semester fees is 32000 for MA Economics which I'm right now availing so my yearly fees is 64000 including tution fees , registration fees , development fees etc. 2. My batchmates from SC category are taking benefits and there semester fees is just 500 rupees and yearly fees is only Rs. 1000 3. As of now there is fee waiver facility but no scholarship as such.

Campus Life

1. Our library consists of wide range of books you will find every book here. 2. Air conditioned rooms are here and labs are well maintained. 3. There are various clubs and society like film society, economics society etc. 4. HSC is a group of our college which arranges diwali , holi fests etc.

Admission

1. I applied in DELHI UNIVERSITY various colleges , GALGOTIA UNIVERSITY and AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY . 2. I appeared for cuet and I got email from AMBEDKAR COLLEGE I waited but didnt get DU so I took admission in amedkar because galgotia's fees was very high. And AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY was renound also. 3. For getting admission in MA ECONOMICS it is must to have economics as a subject in graduation.

Faculty

1. Faculty is cooperative and there teaching style is decent. 2. Jyotirmoy Banerjee sir of Macro is very good and knowledgeable. 3. Taposhik Sir of Micro is not at all cooperative he has his own style of teaching. 4. Usually they take 2 exams of every subject (50-50 marks) in each semester. Half of class fails in some subjects because teachers are very knowledgeable but they way of teaching and describing is not so good. 5. The course designed is not good because there is no fixed way of taking exams.

M.A. POLITICAL SCIENCE IN DRC

Likes

We don't have classes in our respective colleges in masters . We have our classes in faculty of social science which is just opposite to drc building and the good thing is all students around 300 of study in same class together .
Great infrastructure, ac installed in the fss and satyakam building.
Highly qualified faculty and helpful throughout the course.

Dislikes

Since our classes are held in faculty of social sciences building and not in respective colleges so we don't get to experience the exposure of our colleges .
But what I have seen in drc while visiting for documentation work, the infrastructure is not really great and but they are building new ones and trying to make in better.
Fee is too high compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our course offers various branches of political science, like comparative politics, political theory, international relations, security studies, gender and ir, public administration, indian polity , social exclusion, etc which enriches your understanding of the domestic and international politics.

Likes

Faculty is very cooperative and they help you if you finding problems related to academic issues
Our lectures venue is at department which are in north campus and south campus.in college there is no social interaction for masters students.
faculty experience is quite good ,its like average

Dislikes

Washroom of college is not so good and also playground is also small for playing cricket
No social interaction in college because our all classes are held at departments
You also don’t know about what activities or extra curricular activity are going on college.

Remarks:

the recent controversies have put JNU in a dark space, the intellectually awakened environment is on a downfall with objectivity taking the place of critical thinking. the administration is regarded to be suppressive of the voices.

Inside my dream

Remarks:

The management is very efficient and helpful. Though after the expansion in number of seats, there is some problem faced by students in the first semester, the administration tries it's best to make the experience pleasant for everyone.

DSE has its own competition exam. Which happened somewhere in Apr-May. My rank was somewhere in 50's but I did fairly well during two years.

A real Guide to AUD

I applied to DU and Christ University. I did not choose DU as the college i got was not that good in terms of faculty and overall environment and infra. Chirst i didn't choose as it was not an open and non judgmental environment. No. I got accepted everywhere i applied. Admission is through CUET exam. Eligibility is simple 65% in 12th grade and cut offs for CUET cor respect courses depends on the exam itself and the category of the student. Plus they give priority to residents of Delhi. Enhance your self with practical knowledge in vocational courses

Because this is the only college which provides b.voc accounting and finance. And for addmission you only have to give general test in cuet exam and don't have to score that much basically less then other college and university wants and best thing there is 75% reserved seats for Delhi students....Read More

Ambedkar University Delhi

Admission process at AUD is quite simple, much like DU. They used to have interviews, but now they don't for majority courses. I went to AUD for their curriculum.
