What Students Say

Likes

The academic curriculum here is very structured...
Great placement support from the college management
Encouraging extra and cocurricular activities

Dislikes

There is few scope for students who want to explore their sports interest
The timings are really tiring over here.
And yeah to be Frank the number of subjects is surprisingly so vast

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is comparatively decent, like they removed of the subjects which no longer are in use and introduced us with various skill development courses and technical traing, these help us a lot in placements.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fee per year is around 1,50,000 including all the University and extra fees. The tuition fee fixed by the board is 1,40,000.we need to pay an extra amount of rs10,000/- at the time of registration which includes university and infrastructural cautionary fee.If you get through eamcet you will be offered a reimbursement ranging from 35k to complete fee based on your merit and reservation benifits like sc and st.In here every branch has the same fee. The scholarships one can get are epass from state govt, national scholarships, pragathi schemes for women and many more.Vasavi college exquisitely offers financial aid to few selected students for their hostel and transportation charges.Thats really a great payback from the collegemEven the alumni sponsor few students in every alumni meet

Campus Life

The campus is spread in 33 acres. It has seperate buildings for each department with labs equipped with latest technologies and resources. We have an access to a 3 stories library where you can find everything in terms of academics and very few other to explorem Coming to sports Vasavi has a cricket, basketball and a volleyball grounds.offering ease and accessibility to students.

Admission

Aah I didn't choose this college out of interesti applied for many and due to the eligibility criteria I had to confine myself to this college. So yeah the college is decent over other colleges. I would rate this a6/10

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is 70:1 The faculty here are very friendly and helpful.they really help you in every aspect not just in academic, may it come to your placements ,your sports, they are very friendly and always helpful.

Other Applied Colleges

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology - [CBIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

The college despite of its high reputation and placements, had a very negative aura in the society I live in..it was portrayed as not good for academics and alleged to be involving in some illegal activities.so I didn't opt

KG Reddy College: A Journey of My Learning and Development.

Likes

College Environment is more scenic and enjoyable.
Faculty teaching style is proficient and explain both theoretical and practical concepts.
College infrastructure (classrooms, benches, water supply) is good enough.

Dislikes

Not as dislike, college canteen should be extended to more seating.

Placement Experience:

Currently, I am in my second year of B.Tech. As a second-year student, I have no idea about this field in college so I can say as per my idea, our college's last year's highest package is 20LPA. So I am glad and hope it will happen the same way for me. And sometimes we usually go to the industry visits that is one of best activities from the college.

Getting Good Internships.

Likes

College environment is most scenic and that greenery atrracts everyone.
Faculty teaching style. all faculty always follow to cover both theoretical and practical things.
Freedom of dress code. in this college there is no specific dress code while anybody cross their limits in dressing they must be punished.

Dislikes

Canteen: College canteen is some what good but would be wonderful when increasing the menu and seating.

Placement Experience:

As a second-year student, I have a very small idea of the placement. Based on my perspective, 3rd-year students get internships, and final-year students get placements. Based on my understanding, last year the highest package in our college was 20 LPA. hope this college will train me in that way and at filnal i will also got placed with a good package.

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

Life of an graduating person

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

NIAT - where learning and growing is fun

Likes

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

My college experience inOUCE

Likes

One thing I like about this college is how the environment, good weather as there are many trees and garden to seat and have some fun.
The next I like about the college is about our faculty and the infrastructure.there are amazing teacher to explain the some of the toughest subjects ,lab are too good .
If some like to prepare for some other examinations like gate, civils .we have lot of free time to prepare for all other exams

Dislikes

Even though we have a good ground, there are many people in the ground who would distrub u ,these people come here for jogging and playing different sports and but they are not from our college
Wifi is not good the signal strength in our college is not good and we don't get good internet even from the mobile networks too.this is more irritating many times.
As it is open campus many vehicles would be passing and many unknown people would there around.we just have only one technical synopsis,as many private colleges have more than one fest.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good, many of my friends have placed but I haven't placed yet and I am searching for the job ,and I have been applying for the placements and I have been for interview in some of them and not selected for the job.
