Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The B.tech Cse course i preferred was because of my interest in coding and other software development. The cirriculum includes a 6 month internship period which prepares you well for the outside world also we have an rural immersion program. Teaching methods are already up to date. There are twp exams in one semester 1. Mid term (Easy and gives a preview for end semester exam and its marks aere counted in INTERNALS) 2. End Term (A exam to qualify for next year ) Passing for internal and externals is 40 % for both separately.

Placement Experience

4.5

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for whole year course B.Tech CSE is 3,55,000 per year for all 4 years which include Tution Fees as 2,95,000 , Development Fees as 55,000 and Exam fees as 5,000. Fees is same for all category for B.Tech CSE traits containing (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA SCIENCE, CYBER SECURITY AND FORENSICS AND BUSINESS SYTEMS) Total 4 years fees is 14,20,000 Other Courses fees (/yr) The fees for mechanical enggineering is 3,15,000 the fees for civil enggineering is 2,55,000 The fees for Electrical engineering is 3,65,000 The fees for Chemical engg is 3,15,000 the fees for Bio engineering is 3,15,000 The fees for Material Science and engineering is 2,55,000

Campus Life

4.5

Ride - one of the most best event in college (it is held in august ) many people expertees in their own field come and guide us towards our interests Aarohan - best fun ride organised (MARCH) many singers come and comedians come and enjoy the night Also students taking part as the volunteers get a great experience. ALL the books and journals are in the library and it is great knowledge resource centre. Sports department looks after the sports activity There are different sports activty such as basket ball, cricket and football and other chess competitons are also held so to improve studnets in Sports as well. There are many clubs for students to participate. It can help students to adapt to the working culture and could eventualy apply it to their corporate life also.

Admission

I have applied to many collges and some colleges where i have got confirmed admission is G.H. Raisoni Jalgaon, KIIT (bhubhaneshwar), Pessat(bangalore). I choose MIT WPU over other colleges because of the knowledge which i would gain here. The placemnet here is quite good. I have got a lot of experience here. The training sessions here are quite nice which re not in other colleges. Also there is lot of oppurtunites for students here. Some colleges such as RVCE and DSCE in bangalore have rejected me because i couldn't clear their cutoff Admission in my college is on the basis of JEE results and MHT-CET results. The college is not mentioned in CET cap rounds as the students have to apple separately for the college through its website. Cutoff for JEE C.S.E is 91 percentile while for MHT-CET is 94 percentile

Faculty

4

The Faculty to student ratio is 1: 70 as if one teacher on 70 students. The faculty student relationship is quite good and the teaching method is quite nice. The teacher allows children to directly ak them questions in class or they can ask them separately after the classes in the doubt sessions. All the faculties here are best all entertain the doubts of the sutdents geuinely. Students in 2nd year can also work on research paper with the faculty which would help them in their future. Exams are easy. students are geting failed but in less subjjects and the overall performance for the college has improved

Other Applied Colleges

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology - [KIIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

The Placement for this college was less than MIT and the figures shown on college websites were not the one in real. The college need to be more transparent and in bhubhaneshwar no more IT options would be available

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
