What Students Say

Likes

Beautiful Infrastructure with greenery. Peaceful enviroment.
Multiple cafes available for students. Nescafe outlet available for all.
Common room for students to spend their free time in and an useful library.

Dislikes

Some faculties reschedule their classes often that can interfere with personal plans.
Difficult aptitude tests that are required to pass in order to sit for placements.
Transport facility is limited to vans for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculam focuses on the course chosen. All the courses are taught in the first year to help the students choose what is best for them among all the courses and they can pursue the same in the future. All the modules are available on CANVAS and accessible to all of the students. Exams are held with decent and enough gaps in between to allow the students to prepare accordingly.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides various internship opportunites to its students that include research internships too in affilated firms like ISRO. Offline internships are provided for the students to gain hands on experience to tackle real world scenarios.

Placement Experience

There is a CPPA placement cell that manages the placements effectively. Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester itself. Highest package is about 57 LPA and the average is 7.5 LPA Companies that come are : Deloitte, TCS, Gemini Solution, Fidelity etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college charges around 1.5 lakhs per semester i.e. 3 lakhs per year (approx.) and 12-14 lakhs overall tution fees for the duration of 4 years. About the scholarship, NCU offers a scholarship of 25 percent for the students scoring 90 and above in their board exams and a scholarship of 10 percent for 85 and above. This scholarship can be continued if the student manages to maintain a CGPA of 8.5 every semester.

Campus Life

The annual festival is called MOMENTUM which takes place around october - november. The books related to the courses are available for all the students for a span of 2 weeks and can be reissued. Classes are spacious and air-conditioned.

Admission

I choose this college for a variety of reasons : a) Distance (This college is close to where i live and thus convienent) b) Affordibility (The fee structure is good when compared to other private colleges) c) Infrastucture ( Wide corridors , amphitheatre etc)

Faculty

Enough faculty is present to support the students and focus on them effectively. I personally liked many faculties which I'm not comfortable to name but yeah really lovely people. The reason I did not like some faculties is due to their method of teaching and difficulty in understanding and comprehending what they say in their lectures. The exams are divided into two per semester i.e. minors and majors.

Truth of NCU(The NorthCap University)

Course Curriculum Overview:

teaching aspect, exam conduction is fine. except they can give more break (1 or 2 day) between exams, rest all is good. The exams are not that difficult. The level i would say on a scale of 1 to 10, is around 6.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

A budget friendly choice

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

the placement and internship support here is really great i know many of my friends who bagged internship in their first year itself i myself got an opportunity in my first year to work with a company the faculty and placement team provides full support to students other than this we have a paid internships of six months in the 4th semester for every student and students are being prepared for the same since the very beginning of the course

Fun college-but stops you from getting a job

Placement Experience:

You become eligible for placements from the 7th sem itself. The companies which some here are mostly unknown companies, except Flipkart, Airtel, Jindal and Reliance. The placement scenario is as follows: CS/IT : Very good placements, avg 4+, highest(from 2023) was 12LPA on campus. Printing/PKG/Food Tech : 100% Placement, in 2024, 10 students got placed with a package of 9.5 LPA. Core branches(Except ECE) : Decent placement, you have to be top employable in your batch to be placed. ECE : Not allowed to sit in software companies, no electronic company comes, worst placement, No need to talk about the package or percentages. You can just be placed in a sales role.

Remarks:

Yaduvanshi college of engg. & tech. narnaul is a best college in Haryana. A good acadmic record all previous year. good faculty members , good transport facility available . No high fees structure. Scholarship and Bank loan facility available.

Truth of NCU(The NorthCap University)

I didn't chose this college, I was forced by my parents to join it as they had heard that it was one of the best Engineering colleges in gurgaon. If i knew how the college really is, in my wildest dreams i would not have taken admission in it. I have not got rejection from any college. Admission process is very simple, if you have money you get admission. There is no elegibilty criteria, only money matters here. They are so low on there morals, they now treat students as atms. no focus on study, bad environment, worst crowd,no managment, not safe for girls, etc....Read More

I applied for IPU but my family didn't wait for the results from that college that am I selected or not. other students of my age were getting admissios so they wanted me to also get admitted as soon as possible. They also didn't want that I stay away from home so this was the closest college and in gurgaon it is better than any other college. so I tried here I and I got easily admitted. this was actually not ony list but here I am. Inside the northcap university- the real deal

I applied only to direct admission colleges i didn't really apply to any but yeah considered the ones near my place like kr manglam and gd goenka, i also thought about amity or bennet which are in noida but i didn't apply to them as they were far and gd goenka and kr manglam were charging more fees . Northcap was the cheapest and the nearest so i applied to this college only. I just filled the admissions form online paid the fees and got admitted as i said its a direct admission college so they take in just anybody but still my class's strength is only 27 lol not a very good college overall but the cheapest sooo.
