Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses are fine the curriculum is neither new nor outdated , the new system of minor courses are really helpful , and eee course is kinda hectic with the lab works and hard maths topics and also some institution cores isn't even relevant for some courses

Placement Experience

4.5

The campus placements here is pretty decent , with an average of 15 lpa and for courses like eee ece and cse it would be higher with many tech companies mainly coming for the placements percentage of students places is really high

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees Per sem is 60k rupees and for the people with annual income or less than 4 lpa will get 100 percent scholarship and for others who have less than 8 lpa 50 percent . And for sc/St category the fees is also free

Campus Life

5

The campus life in this college is really nice with the annual tech fest tathva and the cultural fest raagam which is really known in the south india , and also there are many technical clubs available for students to join accordingly to their interest

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because of the campus life and the sports activities and also the easy accessibility available to the Calicut town, also the exposure this college gives to the students is not available in any other colleges in Kerala

Faculty

4

Faculty are nice in person but when they teach it's not the likewise , Most of the teachers can teach well but sometimes it's hard to keep up with them and also the exam pressure is real as it doesn't have any study leaves and the exams tend to be on the hard side

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
