Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum is purely for the grading system. It barely prepares us for the real world experience that you need to face once you start working. As the knowledge we are getting is not as advanced as the industrial level. The exam paper difficulty is upto the mark, one has to have good understanding of the subject to score well. The curriculum must include real life job training etc.

Placement Experience

1

Placements from college are not good, need improvement in that area. Students here are really hardworking atleast some of them are. So if I dont get a placement from here I'll be giving some government exams for jobs etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is some what around 2 Lacs. Every semester the fees increases by 5000 rupees. A lot of students have entered college through merit based scholarships who have gotten a good scholarship of upto 80%. Caution fees is 10,000 rupees. Registration fees is 1000 rupees. Apart from this if you choose hostel then their are two criteria AC for 1,30,000 or Non AC that is 80,000. The caution money for hostel is 10,000 as well.

Campus Life

4

So far campus life has been good to me, I have made some good friends, met some great people. People coming from diverse cultures and we try to celebrate all of their customs together which makes this place extremely welcoming for all. Their are a number of clubs you can be a part of to keep you engaged out of your academic life, you get to meet new people, learn new skills etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are good, the rooms are nice. Their is good safety and cleaniless is maintained. Their is a long process if you want to leave campus as a hosteller which makes it a little tedious living in hostel. Hostel is affordable and as there are not much options nearby so hostel is the best option.

Admission

I wanted to come to Amity Mumbai as it had a good reputation for Biotech field. It was affordable, it is in between pune and mumbai which brings more opportunities for jobs and internships. The admission process is simple you just need to apply for the college fill some forms submit documents required and pay the fees.

Faculty

2.5

For every 30 students their is one mentor/mentee that you can go to for your issues, complaints regarding things you're facing in college, hostel etc. Generally most of our faculty are good and helping. Best faculty in Biotech department I would say is Jaya Lakkakula ma'am.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
