Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum covers the essential concepts for getting knowledge about real world problems and how to solve those problems. It includes practical activities and hands-on project to fine tune the students knowledge and improves their creativity and innovation.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are some internship opportunities available for students from 5th semester onwards. Some companies offered internship with stipend are VisAI labs, Kaar technologies, Zuci systems, and Preludesys.

Placement Experience

4

From 5th semester the students become elgible for placements. The regular recruiters are wipro, tcs, cognizant, infosys, zuci systems, tech mahindra, softsquare solutions, NCR, plintron and zifo. Other than these companies, byju's, plintron, avasoft, ionixx, mphasis, pinnacle infotech and many other companies will visit our college for placements. In an average 90 percent of the student are get place every year. I also got placed in a company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fees per year is 60000 INR. Since I am the first graduate there is a concession of 24000 INR. And for my cutoff(173/200), there is a concession of 20000 INR. So I have to pay 16000 INR every year. Since I am a day scholar I have to pay fees for transportation. It is 20000 per year.(the distance between my home and college is approximately 70 kms). There is also a goverment scholarship available for students based on their community.

Campus Life

5

Every year there is an Award function conducted in our college. In this function, the students achieved in their academics and extracurricular events like sports get awards and prizes for thier achievements. A cultural fest is organised every year. In this cultural fest the students who have skills in dance, singing, acting, writing and etc will showcase their skills and get prizes. There is a technical fest organised every year separately for each departments. In this technical fest, events like project preparation, paper presentation, coding and debugging, technical quiz, workshops and hackathons takes place. This fest encourages the students to unleash their creativity, critical thinking and presentation skills. Our college has a large library, in which the textbooks and reference books for all departments are available. Also weekly and monthly magazines and newspapers are also available for students.

Admission

The admission process is based on the TNEA Counselling process. The students having specific engineering cutoffs basically from 120 to 170 can get admission in this college via the TNEA counselling process. I selected this college in Counselling because this college has good teachers and good placement records. I did not applied to any other colleges. But I was expecting to get admission in Government Engineering college, Salem. Unfortunately my cutoffs is not enough to get admission there.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is 1 faculty for every 10 students. The faculties are so friendly and they will guide every students to develop their skills of interest. I prefer not to mention any specific faculty here. But all my CSE department staff are my favorite. Especially the HOD of the CSE department. She supported me and guided me to excel in my career. I personally don't dislike any faculty. All are doing their work properly. The course curriculum and exam pattern is completely based on Anna university, Chennai.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
