What Students Say

Likes

The teacher and the teaching style is so good, they will explain everything that you don't know or have no idea without any difficulties. The senior are also so good they help us with everything ☺️
They are not raciest to the people, mostly the north east indian they treat them with respect which they deserve and the environment for the college is also good for students who wants to study
There are many facilities for those who have great hobbies there are many club which everyone can join , there is also a big library which have the environment to study well with highly equipped books for all courses.

Dislikes

There is nothing that is to be dislike, but the auditorium of the college is so small that it doesn't fit all the people of the college .
The drainage system is also not good when there is heavy rain then the road get all cloged up with water
And there is no near by market, we have near by market but not that Good .

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to take the course political science assignment it can help me with the govt job exam . And here the facilities that have taught me up till now are the best you could find the knowledge they provide are world class not only will they provide us knowledge from the book they would also be giving us the life lessons

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship based on the percentage we got on our 12th exam . The year wise fee is 120000 and there will also be examination fee of 6000 . And the fees will go up as the new semester is started like for example at 1st semester the fee was 120000 but at the 2nd semester the fee will be 123600. There is scholarship if we have done our best for every exam.

Campus Life

I stay in a hostel a I get to enjoy every festival that is celebrated in the campus and it is great to celebrate with friends and the facilities members. And for club there are many options like music club, sports club, drama club, dancing club, fashion club, painting club, diversity club and so on this club have there on beauty, in which we can find ourselves mesmerized. The technical aspects are also so good they used the most advanced and highly tech machine and stuff , which we can also used for our study

Admission

I wanted to applied for Delhi University but I didn't get to have my cuet exm as I miss the registration date , I was searching for a college university that has great reputation and the best for me to gain further knowledge and experience that I lack then I came upon sharda university I was introduced to sharda University by a reletive of mine and yeah it is a great place to gain knowledge and experience.

Faculty

There is a Dean and for the sharda school of humanities there are around 70 faculties. And for my course BA. Pol sc there are around 10 facilities. All the facilities done there best in every thing. They do there best for us to understand.

Perspective as a VCW student

Likes

Facility and infrastructure is really good . In facility we get good internet connection e.g , talking about labs too , we get well equipped class and materials needed for the test , sometimes it may be bit defective aur old.
Teachers are the best things about this college. Course curriculum are designed in the way that you cover everything about the topic infact , sec , aec courses are also designed in students favour only .
The campus area and environment is good too , you may find the campus area small but it's really beautiful and peaceful , there is gym , canteen , ground with basketball and badminton court . You may not get the top notch facility but its not worse.

Dislikes

The first thing could be interior and mangement of washrooms. Canteen could be more better and provide more options . In summer , other than library we get no other sitting area , except the open classroom which are in tolerable in heat.
The bus management is worse too, I left the bus service because of their management.
The fests are not worse but could be organized in more better way .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally find the curriculum to be well made and in favour wit the students. In teaching methods , the subjects that demand practical exposure should be given tasks to be conducted on the real life situation, like the opportunity we get during internship . They should provide task like that .

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

THE OXFORD OF THE EAST

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

I made through Jain University but i never wanted to limit myself to one dept only. MY interest lied in exploring different department and exchanging conversations with intelletuals of other department. The admission process of my college is to first fill up the form and then sit for SU Interview. The basic eligibiltiy was 55% in BA....Read More

The experience I had at Sharda University

I did not apply to any other college. I just went with this one and just because I had heard its name. Ads were running and basically it's very big when it comes to area and also I wanted to enjoy my life plus study, so that's why I chose this university. Admission process is simple as I told you cut-off for these exams are basically attendance, 75% and in admission you only need above 60% in your 12th or even 10th, then you have a call basically an exam examination where face-to-face interview is there and then you are selected Not that tough to be very honest. People can easily get in as I have seen people paying amount to you know, just enter the course, mostly most people are through this way only....Read More

My Experience with Sharda University <3

After my 12th I was completely focused on my preparation of a competitive exam viz. UPSC NDA. because of that I couldn't give cuet exam to apply for other colleges. My father was posted near to this university. so upon researchig i found the campus life and the experience quite good so I dicided to join this university because it was near my home too. And I believe it doesn't matter what college you opt for in the end you hard work and dedication towards achieving your gaols decide you career. We had to give the SUAt exam in which mostly reasoning and english questions were asked. after that we had a small telephonic interview. I got 40% scholarship based on my 12th result. the admission process was quite smooth....Read More
