Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is actually well versed. The diversity of the courses makes it interesting. Certain subjects are in relation to real-time. Teaching methods include ppt, notes, outdoor activities, etc. A lot of extra curricular is involved.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is compulsory for every student. We receive certain credits for completing an internship. While making is compulsory it helps students gain experience and help them grow in the industry. After the completion of the internship, we are required to make a report on it.

Placement Experience

This college is well known for their placements. They have good connection with well known companies that come for hiring. Everything is done systematically which leaves a good impression for companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Depending on course taken fee will differ. My course costs total 8.5L. 4.2L for the first year and 4.3L for the second year. Scholarships are available. There is a state entrance exam that also helps with reduction of fees.

Campus Life

Our college focuses more on skill related fests that test the skill and knowledge of students. It makes it compulsory for every student to participate in these fests which help in their growth. Sports also play a huge aspect in this college.

Admission

I have chosen this college since I live close by compared to others. This was the only college I applied to and got my admission. They focus more on values and attitude compared to knowledge which is needed in this generation.

Faculty are well versed with their subjects. They are always there to help us with anything and they encourage us to grab and opportunity that come our way. Exams are held very systematically and is very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent, with students becoming eligible from the 5th semester with PPO's. Companies like Nykaa, ITC, L&T, Axis Bank, TCS, Bosch etc visit the campus. Highest package is 20 LPA, average 8.2 LPA with 100% placements

My PGDM experience at GIBS Business school

Placement Experience:

After completing 4th trimester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Flipkart, Mahindra Finance, Axis Bank, Nykaa, OYO, TCS etc come for placements. The highest package offered for the BATCH 2024-26 was 20 LPA and average package is 8.2 LPA. Almost 90-95 % of the total students are getting placed every year.

Placement Experience:

Since we are going into our 2nd year, our batch hasn't been through campus placement yet. Based on previous batch records, though, students are typically eligible for placements from the 4th trimester onwards, once internships are completed. GIBS had a strong track record, with over 200+ companies visiting campus, including names like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra Finance, etc. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, and average package was around 8.3 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

B-School of great choice in Bangalore

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. The college has totally 6 semesters and after the 4th semester the students are eligible to attend the placements. The students need a minimum of 4.8/8.00 CGGA to sit in the placements The companies which visit here are - EY, KPMG, Mindsprint, Lowe's, Accenture, Tata Power, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Sabre, Oxane, Well's Fargo. The highest package was from Lowe's and the package was 23.7 LPA and the role was Product manager, it was offered for people from engineering background and with 2 years of experience. The average package here is 10.5LPA and most of the companies come for this range. The percentage of students getting placed is close to 95% as some of them don't clear the eligibility and some don't get placement event with good CGPA. Plans after getting degree is to join work and continue to learn

Placement Experience:

College provides a proper assistance for placements, all students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there, placements starts for summer internship one two months after entering the college, the procee is on till maximum of students gets placed. In and arround 50-80 companies visit campus for hiring and offers is made to every possible students eligible. Highest package stands at 18 lakhs and is between 10 to 11 lakhs. Nearly every students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there. Ambition and aspiration in my views changes as time proceeds, so I believe in short term goal making, though my plans post degree is to get placed in an MNC to kickstart my career from good position, where learning graph is very high.

Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

Personally i got many other prominet collegs as well like Christ university, St joseph univeristy and all. THe main thing was these colleges i applied was a course which i didnt have any interest in. There was no such specialization as i cose right now. And also the fees is damn high in these colleges apart from KJC. KJC fees are comparatively higher than other colleges.
