Drama society is very good and amazing. People are nice
Teachers are nice and good and teaching quality is great
Infrastructure is very good campus is small but infra is so good

Campus is very small and there is no space
College does not have Ground . It has sports complex outside the college but it is small
Canteen is messy and some food is not good to eat

Course Curriculum Overview

I'll rate bcom hons course curriculum 8. Various part of the curriculum which is practical is relevant and it teaches about the practical elements of the financial and accounting methods.which can be used in real life for calculation. Exams are very difficult as the course is very much and time is less.

Internships Opportunities

Many internship opportunities are provided by the placement cell of college. Some are with stipend and some are without. You can take them for experience. Many finance , marketing , pr, accounts related are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for bcom hons 1st year was 24750 and it is gets decreased every year . For 2nd year it is 23750 amd 3rd is 22750 It consists of tuiton fee is 11000, registration fee, lab fees is 2000. For sc st it is a bit lower. The fees depends from course to course. For bap it is 21500, ba hons it is 22750 and bap asps it is more 24750 around. Various scholarship are available for bpl students

Campus Life

There are many societies in college. They organise many fests, seminar fir the students. Being a part society makes your college life great and you enjoy during fest season. Majorly fests are heldfrom feb to april.

Admission

I have applied to almost all colleges which offer bcom hons but which one you get depends on your marks and it is alloted to you automatically. Other colleges like srcc, hansraj , hindu, Venkateshwara , arsd etc. Cutoff fir theek is above 750 and you need to have 4 subjects related to commerce. Admission experience was very exhausting and tough

Faculty

Faculty is good . The relationship with students is official and nice but some are very rude. I don't like history faculty. Commerce faculty is good. One year is divided into 2 semesters and at the end of each sem there is a final exam. In between there are internals and ca tests and presentation. Course curriculum is relevant for commerce

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
