Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is up to date according to the National Education Policy. The curriculum prepares you for the practical field having subjects like Entrepreneurship, Communication Skills and Business Ethics. The exams are conducted monthly by the teachers and the main exams are midsemester and end semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the third year students can apply for the campus placements through the Placement Cell Of the College. Approximately 90 percent students get placed in the core companies. My plan after the degree is to work at a MNC to gain experience and then would try to do my masters from abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay 45000 rupees per year as my family income is less than a lakh per year. A general category student has to pay 180000 rupees per year. And the hostel fees is same for everyone that is 25000 per semester.

Campus Life

3.5

There are many annual and technical festivals organised through out the year. The name of the annual festival is HILLFAIR and the name of the technical festivals is NIMBUS. There is a huge three storey library at NITH consisting of 75000 books.

Admission

I was also getting a seat in MNIT ALLAHABAD, Civil engineering but I was not interested in Civil engineering as much as I was in electrical engineering. For the admission process a 75% is required in Class 12th and the cutoff for electrical at NIT Hamirpur goes upto 98%ile.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:50. Faculties are quite approachable, they even provide their phone numbers and emails to ask the doubts. The name of the faculties I liked is Chandel Sir, Jagannath Sir and Adhya Mam. The exams are moderate in difficulty.

Other Applied Colleges

MNNIT Allahabad - Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology - [MNNIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Civil Engineering)

I was interested in Electrical engineering rather than Civil engineering.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
