- Lots of socities are there in Akgec for you overall development and passion
- Infrastructure is really good like all classes are provided with Smart boards
- Located on prime location, on delhi meerut expressway and provides you good connectivity with DELHI NCR
Dislikes
- No fest at all, not even a single one during whole college life
- Girls is to boys ratio was quite less in my class of 65 students there were only 16 girls
- No Air Conditioner were there in the class room. Hence, during summers you may have to suffer a lot
Course Curriculum Overview
As per my experience the curriculum is regularly updated to meet the industry standards and technological advancement. They taught us project based learnings but i think more focus of skill development is still needed. Exams were also easy mainly based on past 10 years of question paper so if have go through the pyq even a night before the exam you will easily manage to get good marks
Placement Experience
Placements are decent not very good nor very bad the average package was around 4 lpa and you will become eligible for placement in your last year i.e in 7th semester. Highest was 32 lpa this year(2024) and lowest package was of 2.5 lpa in tech branch. Due to low placement rate i personally opt for off campus placement. Just for sake around 180 to 200 companies visited this year(2024).
Fees and Financial Aid
So the tuition fees that i paid in my first year was aroung 1,41,000 along with the caution money 10,000 (refundable after graduation), liberary and lab fees 2500 and the most important is exam fee that has to be paid to AKTU itself once per year for four year. From second year onwards the total fee was around 1,19,000 per year.
Campus Life
In akgec there were absolutely no annual and technial festival even the students of akgec used to go to other colleges for attending their fest. But you can have acces to great range of books and journals in liberary, literally akgec has a great liberary including a digital liberary and trimming for liberary are 9:00 am to 1:00 am on weekdays and weekends it was 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Admission
I applied in akgec during September 2020 based on my jee marks there were other good colleges to but in noida in Ghaziabad i think it the best college one can opt for engineering. Admission process is quite simple you just have to appear for jee mains and based on your percentile there and you category you can get your desired branch during counselling
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio was quite good, around 1 teacher on 20 student. If i talk about my favourite faculty, so there is literally no good teacher who know how to maintain relations with students. If we talk about exam so there mainly 3-4 exam during a semester depending upon the lenght of semister. first one is ST(sessional test) then there is PUT(pre university test) and at last UT(university test). And yes don't forget about practicals
