What Students Say

Likes

Timely Classes , teachers are supportive
Disciplined campus with timely exams and everything
You can get the opportunity to learn and understand

Dislikes

The policy of attendance is very strict and students are debarred from exams
Exposure to industry skills is not given
Sports and extra curricular facilities are also not provided

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum will teach you all the basic that is required but it feels slightly outdated as the industry is developing everyday so the new and latest trends you have to explore on your own. You can learn all that among the peers .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements are average so it depends on the market situation and also on your luck and also how you approach the placements as there are few opportunites one shall always keep looking for the right one and give their best shot

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for an year varies every year and the 1st year fees for cse department is about 1,40,000 and it decreases per year . Scholarship is also provided by the university but there are few basic criterias a student shall meet.

Campus Life

The overall experience is a mixed experience with lots of positives and a few not so good ones . The college life is not very much interesting as the college is situated on the delhi meerut expressway and there is a very limited amount of options .

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilties are good for the first year students as compared to the year 2 and seniors but the facilities are enough to survive in the hostels and the mess food is also good for the freshers and seniors while in the 2nd year of college you might face a few problems

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

The reason to choose the college was the positive feedback from people and i could secure the desired branch and course while the reason for not going to other college was only the branch that i wanted to choose

Faculty

The teachers are good and supportive while experience may vary person to person . They'll encourage you to take part in hackathons and everything and will tell you about the opportunities in market. The exams are conducted on a regular basis to evaluate the progress of an individual .

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
