Remarks

Pros: As I said PES college of engineering, Mandya has a very good infrastructure, teaching, support for extracurricular activities and many more. The lectures almost everyone in our department is a favorite for me. the deserve to be in their positions. Caring and clarify ING doubts of students. Cons. The only con is the placement. I think the can improve in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I selected civil engineering because this college is very famous for civil engineering. And next comes the mechanical engineering. The instrument and testing machines like UTM and heavy machinery are there. The exam structure is performed well.

Placement Experience

1

Placements are worst here. But the provided internship to us. I went for an internship at court building Mysore. I,e BAI (builders association of India). that was a great experience. I learned very much in my internship program.

College Events

5

In PES college of Engineering, mandya there is no compromise of events. We all enjoyed events like PESCO, Vinyas, moto show, etc. There we enjoyed and learned many things like an organizer and also as spectators when we were in the first semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I got the CET seat. So I felt it as Feasible. We're like my friends paid direct fees which were expensive. but when compared to other colleges which I have sent fee structure is worth the knowledge we get.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a scholarship from the Karnataka government. That's it. College did not give me any scholarship. Or promoted the students. But they only help by giving expenditure certificate which would be helpful to get loans at banks

Campus Life

5

I should definitely tell about this topic. Sports. This college really really encourage s extracurricular activities. The PES college has PET which has a vast area. With a swimming pool, cricket ground and a lot more.

Alumni/Alumna

Actually, I personally didn't get any help from alumni. maybe my friends got help from getting a job. But we really got good notes and guidelines from our seniors. They were very friendly and responsive.

Faculty

5

Every person in the college I,e principal, the hod and lectures are very friendly, solve the problem and clarify doubts in an easiest and understanding way. Though the subject s are critical the make understands fast.

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
