Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course which i opted for was mechanical engineering and it's a very fast branch.Proffesors used to teach well some of them.Exmas were conducted yesterday few subjects were pretty difficult to tackle and needed more attention.

Placement Experience

3

these placements, college invites several companies to their campuses to recruit students studying in that college. After analyzing different skills being taught by the college and the CV, company sets some criteria to qualify in several rounds and finally get a job in that company. Students who fulfil all the criteria and qualify in each and every round get selected. Students from different branches can sit for the interview of other branches

Fees and Financial Aid

I was from non maharashtrian quota so I have to pay the open category fees. Also some classmates of mine who were from Maharashtra have to pay less fees. Some of them paid 17k yearly fees and we coming from non maharashtrian seats have to pay above 1 lakh yearly fees. Also they were given scholarship also coming from backward caste

Campus Life

2.5

Yes annual festival by the name of abhivyakti used to happen.there were few clubs for various things such as dance , maths and also there were two racing teams from our college team predator and team metal falcon.Sports clubs were there.Ovrerall i would say ki there was but difference because Maharashtrian and non maharashtrian students found it difficult to bond

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel was over priced.i paid 180000 for 3 seater.Along me there we two other students also in the room. There was an elevator service which was broken.Every room has seperate washroom and cleaning was done regularly.food quality was okay.but on occasions good food was served and

Admission

I gave her mains exams and on that basis I filled the form of appu and choose various colleges and the one which I gave first preference was alloted to me , process is simple at first you've to apply then you've to visit the assigned venue for documents verification and after that pay the fees submit the documents and admission is done

Faculty

3.5

There was professors in our branch.there were teachers for all students. Every department has teachers . Exams used to happen on two levels university level and college level. There were total 8 University exam and total 8 insem exams.Universtiy exams were more difficult and have higher weightage as compared to internal semester exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For first year you are supposed to take up internship from your own and for second year the college with place you somewhere so this is usually done to make you ready for real world. You also have internal tests along with assignments and with internship so sometimes it gets exhausting I feel this area should be improved.

KES Law College, Bachelor of Legal Science [B.L.S] + Bachelor of Law [L.L.B]
Reviewed on Apr 8, 2025(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
