What Students Say

Likes

Literally, there is everywhere greenery around
You don't have to roam around for any particular thing... everything is available nearby
Hostels have reading room which have ACs installed

Dislikes

Placements are getting bad year by year here
Some teachers are the worst, you can't get rid off them
Odia students are given more priority as usual

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Curriculum is almost same as IITs syllabus but it doesn't matter you are studying from which teacher. You can score well if you study atleast 3 days before from the exam from YouTube. As I said, the exams will be 2 times per semester. Here, you have feature to select your faculty from which you are planning to study from the 2nd year onwards but there will be too rush (more struggle than booking a tatkal ticket).

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 325000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I am currently in 3rd year and the internships are coming every 3rd day. But these are for those who are overachiever or training themselves from 2nd year. Major internships will come in the next semester onwards.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are good but only for some branches (IT, CSE, CSSE, CSCE)...if you are getting any one of these...do come, otherwise don't think about this college. The placements are very good if you are in the top 5% of students and you will be get placed if you practice DSA from 2nd or 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I got admission in 2022-26 batch, the semester fee was around 2.25 lakhs (including hostel and mess) but after our batch, the fees were increased by some amount. This is for the B. Tech Course. Although, you have to give a KIITEE eligibility test to get admission into this college...and if you rank is under 1000 , you will be getting a scholarship of 10K/month.

Campus Life

There are many many clubs and societies here. Some of them are managed by KSAC but some are also outside it's control. If you are in 1st year, just apply for any one which fascinates you and you will be get selected...then start hustling...

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel Facility is somehow good for 1st year...after that, you can opt for flat..it will cost you same as hostel because the restrictions will be there till 3rd year if you are not getting KP-5A Hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The placements of this college were so good when I heard of it in contrast to other private colleges our there in country. No, I didn't got rejection from other colleges but still I applied and registered for this college.

Faculty

2.5

There are many faculties...some are extremely good but sone are worst as shit...there will be 2 exams per semester:- Mid Semester and End Semester. You can easily pass any subject exam by studying one night before. Just focus on training yourself from the 1st year.

Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
