Course Curriculum Overview

4

Classes were from 9-5, M to S. A lot of assignments, lab work and maybe self projects. The course was comprehensive and the faculties were really great at tecahing. DSA & DBMS had one of the best faculties.

Placement Experience

4

In the class of 2020, majority of the students started getting placed at the beginning of 7th semester. Some of the students got PPO after their internships at the end of the 6th sem. Accenture was one of the biggest mass recruiters, offering a CTC of 4.5 Lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee breakup (semester wise) Tuition Fee - 150,000 Hostel - 31,000 (3 Bed Non-AC) Mess - 17,000 KIIT has a lot extracurricular activities and societies in place. The placement cell is good, they try their best to ensure that every student gets placed.

Campus Life

4

Great infrastructure. A lot of places to engage in physical activities such as gym, football ground, tennis court. Various student societies which students can be a part of. One of the best college fests in the east zone.

Hostel Facilities

4

My room had 3 beds, 3 tables and chairs, 3 wardrobe. No A/c. The meal quality was decent, the menu was better than average. Most of students get hostel, around 1-2% don't choose to stay in the hostels. Renting a room would be a good idea only if you plan on buying a bike/scooty/car.

Admission

Major reason to choose KIIT would be their placement records, if you're accepted into CS/IT then you can be 100% sure that you will get placed, unless you mess it b y yourself. Admission process consisted of exam, results then councelling round (department selection) and then fees payment,

Faculty

5

Every semester consisted of one mid-term and one end-term exam. Mid-term = 25 marks Internal = 15 marks End-term = 60 marks Most of then students to clear the exams, the course is very diverse and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.
