Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think any unviersity should focus on practical so is this college they keep seminars on useful technological stuffs like github resume and aptitude etc. I think the overall education of mumbai university is backlogging but the college is trying its best to keep with the would. areas of improvement are the pratical should be more focused then lectures. 3 month we have the IA's and after 6months we have the END SEM.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Open its FE SE 120000 for TE its 125000 and for BE its 130000 For SC ST its 20000 and as I am from open I dont much about the scholarships. We do have a management Quota for for the fees of 200000 starting.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is 3/5 I have seen worse and I have seen better. social aspect is also 3/5 considering the oppurtunities we have. club ivolvement is 4/5 we have way different committees and club. I myself am a part of the club. infrastructure is what I'd give a 2.5/5 cause their is always some constuction work going on. Annual Cultural Fest ZEAL by Council Annual Sport Fest AAVAHAN by Sport Committee Annual Hackathon VCET and MLSC Hackathons. Library is quiet good .(They do have a digital lib) The facilitites are also great even in the classroom AC Projector Free WIFI. They have NSS Council which I personally think one should be a part of.

Admission

I stay in goregaon and for me travelling in the reverse direction is easier than travelling to other colleges. The timing of the trains and the crowd is also pretty managable. I did apply for various college. KJ Somaiya and Xaviers are the college were I was accepted but according to my comfort I chose this college. As the Fees is also reasonable and the traveling time is also saved, So for me it was a the comfort zone I'd say. And other college I was rejected due to the score was not compitent as they needed it. It takes admission on the basis of CET JEE so the admission process is almost online they do have their institute round on their website for which the result is also given on the website itself.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:25 as a class of 60-70 students are divided into batches. So the teachers has a eye on you. We do have a proctor system where 15 student are assign a single proctor where she looks after your academics and even your defaulters which is pretty bad cause they call your parent if it is too low. And when it comes to naming a single faculty its not fare but ya we have very kind and chill faculties some are bad but most of them are very cool. some faculty use PPT as their basic median but some dont even use PC. There are 2 Internal Ass and 1 End Sem like every other university College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have completed degree in Computer science with Al and analytics as specialization, considering that the course is very relevant and industry specific, there are often industry visits and mentor sessions to learn real time. The exams are conducted thrice every semester two exams are of 20 marks each and final is of 60 marks, the diffculty level is easy to moderate and it also varies student to student.
