Likes

College has a good infrastructure with lift, air conditioned classrooms and interactive faculty.
college also has a cafeteria inside campus with so many shops which opens a variety of food.
It has a in Campus hostel with many indoor games like pool, table tennis, air hockey, billiards and also have many grounds for outdoor games like basketball court, badminton court, cricket nets, football ground, etc. and also have a 24/7 cafeteria.

Dislikes

it has a boys to girls ratio around 10:1.

Course Curriculum Overview

Galgotias University has a overall good curriculum. I have 4 days classes and three days holiday. but those are enough to cover syllabus. College have exams every month like 4 time exam in 5 months. I have a suggestion for you all to be not dependent on college in btech course because you all know what is going on in IT sector nowadays so be prepared and focus on skill over degree because employers focus on skills over degree.

Internships Opportunities

Basically while i was filling one form to fill review on collegedunia i have mentioned that i am a first year student then i dont know why are they asking about internships from me and i have not completed a single month here how could i know about internships.

Placement Experience

Last year Galgotias University 850 companies approch Galgotias university students for job and gave 8500+ offers. Highest package at Galgotias University is 1.2 Cr and avg package of 5.4 lpa. My plan after getting degree is to start a company and grow it like tata's.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of Btech Cse (AI and ML) is 169000. 154000(Tution fees) + 15000(Exam fees) + 2000(Caution Fees) + 1000(Id card fees) + 1200(Application fees) = 173200(Total fees) There are basically so many Scholarships as follows: 1) 50% Tution fees waiver for students scoring upto 25000 rank in JEE exam. 2) 100% Tution fees waiver to the topper of any board. 3) 25% Tution fees waiver to students scored 95% or above in 12th. 4) 15% Tution fees waiver for students scored between 90 - 94.99% in 12th. 5) A Student will be eligible for the scholarship for next year if he/she maintains a CGPA of 9 or more and have maintained 75% attendance.

Campus Life

my overall experience is okay because i am an introvert so right now i dont have any friends and just go to college and study. College also provides library with so many books and sitting arrangement. college also has so many sports activities and clubs which help student to interact to people and learn.T

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good basically the fees of two seater non ac is 126000 and two seater ac is 155000 and the mess food is best than other hostels mess and also has varieties. It has many indoor games like pool, table tennis, air hockey, billiards, etc. and also has badminton court, basketball court, football ground, etc. It has a gym with good equipments and also a laundry facility. If you want pg you can visit Supertech just behind college and second option is knowledge park which is 15kms away from college.

Hostel Fee: INR 126000 per year

Admission

I have applied to college named NMIMS for course of integrated Btech + Mba course and also cleared the university personal exam names NMIMS CET but the total cost for 5 years course was nearly 30 lakhs which my family cant afford thats why i have to leave that college option. I also applied to IIT Bombay for Btech CSE course but got rejected because i was not got enough marks to qualify jee mains and sit for advanced and college cutoff was rank 64 in advanced. The admission process in Galgotias University is to good and i got admission on merit basis whose eligibility criteria is 60% in pcm in class 12 and college also accept jee mains and cuet for btech course.

Faculty

The faculty is interactive and good. Galgotias University has a Faculty to Student ratio nearly 1:15 which is good and avg of world is 1:18 so the ratio is maintained. Basically there are two faculty members whom i like the most and those are Arun sir and Ganesh Sir and both are my favourite because Arun sir is a EDP teacher and Ganesh sir is a PPSC teacher and they make these subjects my favourite. This University has total 4 exams in a Semester i.e. IA1 of 25 marks, Mid Term of 50 marks, IA2 of 25 marks, End term of 100 marks.

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Placement Experience:

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

iiit lucknow

Likes

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

Likes

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

Placement Experience:

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning.
