- Faculty:All the teachers are highly educated and experienced .
- Hostel:hostel rooms are very neat and clean.
- Events:Wit solapur organanises a large no. of events .The most famous is Atharva.
Dislikes
- The size of the campus is very small,it is around 22 acres.
- The placement is not too good ,but it is average around 70% of the students are placed this year.On campus highest package is only 9 lpa.
- The students have to maintain the minimum attendence of 75% that is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview
i have chosen cse cousrse because it is having better than others relatively. They conduct some industry expert lecture to make the student ready to face the real world that is to work in industry. as the college is autonomous so they ask only those question(imp question) which are taught by them.so student prepare only those question for the exams.thus college need to add those things which are more practical not theortical . they conduct ise exams by the end of every month.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Walchand institute of technology, solapur takes nearly 1,13,993 INR for one year. tution fee is 98696,development fee is 14804,admission form fee is 100 For jains belonging to OBC category (they are having scholorship schemes as well ) ,only half of the fee is to be paid .Remaining fee is paid by government .
Campus Life
the name of the annual and technical festival is atharv event it is conducted in january month every year. it is having very large library called centreal library ,it is having more than 5000 books. there is a projector in every classroom. our college also encourages extra curriculum activities such as csi membership .they organized activities witech and acceleration.students may run clubs like lol club is there
Admission
the reason i chose this college over other college was that i belong to the jain category and in this college 51% seats are reserve only for jains.and the cutoff is less for jains.there are three ways to take admission in this college.51%seat reserve for jains,they can take admission either through mhcet or through jee mains.
Faculty
All the teachers are excellent and having good knowledge of their respective subjects.They have experience of more than 10years. The teacher i liked the most is birajder balashaheb ,because of his way of teaching. There is no any teacher to whom i don't like. The college is very good in academics ,they conduct exam called ise every month. this exam are little bit difficult to pass.this semester last almost 4 to 5 months.
