Likes

I liked the structure of the university. The university situates in 900 acres
The timing of the university is good as the university operates 24x7
University has 2 stadiums, 1 badminton court, gyms and everything you need within it

Dislikes

The teaching method and the class timing of the university
The place where the university is situated which is little far from the city
The faculty interactions with students are not that developed

Course Curriculum Overview

As I choose Mba logistics in supply chain management this is rare course that not every university offers. Tbis university provides 2 project works which I think will help is get better. The classes are not that very interactive here as for an mba course we expect frequent presentations and all but here things are not like that. The exams and all are very well oriented.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

I personally know a senior of my course who got placed in federal bank for a package of 13 lpa I think that is the best this course have got so far and around 4 people got place in the same company. Even though the mba logistics caourse is new there are good of studensts are getting placed. As of my knowledge most if the studenst who have participated in the placement have got placed. My plan is to participate in the placement and get placed I have good faith that i will get placed as seeing the prev year placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

So as of now I have paid 165918 rupees( 115718 during the admission and 50200 in the second semester). No I will be paying 184082 rupees in the second year of my course. This 115718 which I paid during th admission includes admission fee and all the other charges. The fee structure is same for everyone, there is no difference for different categories.

Campus Life

There are a lot clubs and groups in this university which will allow you to enjoy as well as influence your knowledge in the university. As there a are several courses and departments are provided here it is difficult to list out everything. I am a part of a football club which has good reputation and fame in this university and as every culture is presend here is very enjoyable living in the university. I would say campus life is the best in here

Hostel Facilities

I would say the hostel facilities are not that good here even though there are like 30 or something hostels are available for girls and boys which is located near to near within the university. There is no gender discrimination in here and everyone is equal and same. The mess food i say is not at all great and I don't recommend that.

Admission

As my only option was tbis university i did apply for any other universities. Only this university offers mba in logistics and supply chain management and when got in contact whith a alumni of the same course he gave me good review about this course. To get admission in this university you will have to get a moderate marks in CUET exam. And you will have to come in limited ranks. In my opinion cuet is not that difficult with a minimum efforts we can easily crack it

Faculty

Well while some of the facilities are very interactive some are not somehow they deliver the things they are supposed to. I personally like Dr.Rajesh and Dr.Bushen as they are very free and very supportive in every thing. There are 2 internal per sem and a semester exams. The faculty itself check all the papers. The exam difficulty in here is moderate.

Likes

The most liked things in my college is the college atmosphere which takes us to a heavenly feel. The environment is very silent when we visit in morning time when the students are in class.
The next thing I like the most is the professors in the college. Each and everyone is a friendly teachers where they not only help us in subjects and class related things but also guide us in our future career plans.
I like the way they treat the students in the college. They'll provide more liberty to the students but that doesn't affect them because the students too will be in their limits of liberty. So this is a good habit developed by the college.

Dislikes

There is nothing particular that I don't like. Sometimes I feel that they'll conduct some events where there might not chances to the deserving students.
There is some students gang where they take care of everything in the college by themselves without giving chances to deserving students.

Placement Experience:

From the final year which means 5th and 6th semester for undergraduate students and 3rd and 4th semester for Post graduate students, it is eligible for them to attend the campus placements. In my MBA, we'll be eligible for next semester to attend the placements. But for undergraduate students, they might have got chances now to attend the placements. The companies visited for us when I was in Undergraduate in the same Loyola College are Deloitte, Accenture, Standard Chartered, Goldman Sachs, RR Donneley, Bank of America, Sutherland, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Equinty, Turing, and many more small companies also came. The overall placed students numbers were almost more than 300 among the final year students alone in the college which is a great achievement. The highest package offered for us is ?700000 from Goldman Sachs and the average package we received is ?300000 which is from all the small companies. The percentage of placed students in our college is almost 85% from our batch alone. So we hope that in this batch there might be more than 90%. The reason for 85% in our batch is most of the students has moved for higher studies. My plan after getting degree is to get a senior most position in any of the big company and grow in my career.

Likes

I like the college life, Becuase the class will be having only for 5 days and 2 days are holidays.
I like this college, becuase it has many resources.
I like the campus environment which is full of greenary.

Dislikes

I dislike facilities like transport and Mineral water.
I dislike infrastructure like roads, this are too bad.

Placement Experience:

In my college students wil get their placements in their last semester. There are many companies visiting our college foe placements like HDFC Bank, ICICI, BANDHAN Bank, Walkaroo, ITC, WIPRO, TCS, etc.

Good for study and better than many collages and jNiversity in term of timepass

Likes

Environment is very safe and secure for boys as well as for girls
Faculty is better then my under graduation collage
Placement is good according to their fees

Dislikes

It's too far for north indian students .
Language barrier can lean to misunderstanding outside the university
It can be very tough for many student who don't know english

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement for student as almost 80 to 90 student from 160 students get placement in differently sector fir master of business administration and average placement package is around 6 lakhs .

Likes

The atmosphere because it's and Central University students can get exposed to other cultures and norms which gives broader perspective
The events which are getting all over the year we can get to experience all the events and culture fesrivals
Canteen facilities are good and food are affordable

Dislikes

Classrooms may have better ventilations and more electrical supports needed
Mess (hostel) food should be improved and more hygiene practice should be followed

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of 2nd year (i.e., 3rd semester) students are eligible for getting into placements. Companies such as Federal bank, Thomas Cook, Askan technology are some of the college which has visits till yet and more of them are coming from January. Highest package is 13LPA and it's from banking sector and the average packages are 4-5 LPA. 70% of the students are getting into campus placements.

Life of Pondicherry University

Likes

The academic excellence of Pondicherry university is known for its strong academic programs particularly in the humanities and social science with knowledgeable faculty
The infrastructure and scenic of campus is really huge , university is covers full of trees , thus the green campus provides a peaceful environment to study also relaxation
The research opportunities of the Pondicherry university is wide .there are numerous opportunities for students to engage in research projects which encouraged across various disciplines

Dislikes

While saying about infrastructure it is wide but the facilities and using of the infrastructure is bad. All the students don’t getting hostel allocation. Also hostel and classes need better upgradation and improvement
The placement activites is not Upto mark because if placement is needed we have to do ourself the support from the faculties or univerity is less
There are so many places were free in campus which is covers with full of trees looks like jungle , maintain it and use appropriately.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have taken my subject MBA logistics and supply chain management . There are so many MBA programs in Pondicherry university . From it selected logistics because of the scope of the subject. Logistics has a good scope in nowadays and future because import and export are increasing day by day . Therefore the faculties were providing and taking classes in a good manner and it really helps my future also the course provide internship alsoo from that we can understand the real world and study about more our topic. I have done my internship in port therefore it is more helpful for my future

About international business department

Likes

It's central university so it's degree will be impactful for future in that amount of fees.
There are very diverse environment, many people from different states.
Faculty are very good, they having expertise in thier field.

Dislikes

Like when they starting spot round they enroll many student who having numbers in single digit.
Mess food quality is very bad because of caterer.
Road quality is not good due to this accident happen.

Placement Experience:

In international business specialy, not good in placement because of large crowd and less effort of placement cell, last year highest placement of 15 lakh , but maximum 7-8 people get placed , hope they improve this

Remarks:

Our institution lacks stability in the tenure of faculties. Some faculties are leaving the department and joining after one or two semesters. Also, new guest facilities are joining, but they are not as good as permenant facilities.

Admission:

My admission was on a merit basis. College prepares a merit list on the basis of past academic record, specifically the graduation marks. Shortlisted students are invited for the counseling process, which more or less includes the document verification process.

I just applied for Gurunanak College and DG Vaishnava college also. I got call from Gurunanak College for MBA. But I choose Loyola because of it's brand reputation and high respect from public. It is one of the the top ranked colleges in Nation wise and first in Chennai. So as per this good and great characteristics, I choose Loyola over any other colleges. No, I didn't get any rejections from any colleges. Even I got selection confirmation from Gurunanak College but I didn't opt to it after I got confirmation from Loyola. DG Vaishana has sent me a mail for an entrance examination but I just ignored it after confirmation from Loyola. The admission process is very simple. First is online application. The applicant must fill all the necessary details in the application correctly and accurately without any mistake. Then after 2 to 3 weeks of thorough scrutiny, the admission officers will send us mail after we got shortlisted. The mail has details of the documents needed to bring to office with it's originals and Xerox for scrutiny and also they'll send the time and fees amount to be brought to pay. So they'll conduct an interview for the students and after that interview, they'll select the students and grant them admission. SEAL and PU

I got selected in HOU but I choose PU ,i got attracted to this course and i read brochure it find this is very diversified and you will having so many options after your degree and I got spot admission the admission process and hostel allotment process went very smoothly no problems there and I seats are alloted totally on merit based . If we compare the uni with other i would say academically it's very average particularly social science and humanities like the depts lack faculties and proper furniture and most of times professors will be ready at classes Talking about campus life no doubt there we have one the most beautiful campus in india and the night life of pu is another vibe it's don't disappoint anyone there , so on overall I am ok for choosing pu because it's a amazing diversity and filled with many talented people...Read More

Health center with full time ambulance is available, other facilities inside the campus includes a big library with RFID facilities and multistory reading room, Indian Bank University Branch, 2 Indian Bank ATM counters, Post office, Reprographic centers, shopping complex, Ponlit Milk parlour, Day care, Kendriya Vidyalaya school.
