Remarks
Average(Negative for CE Department) Overall Good. Positive Remarks is they need Semester fees within 6months,failing that u are Backlog. Negative Remarks is they cannot brought Healthy Placements for us in 6months(7th-8th Semesters)
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum Was Fine. It's all about Total 8 Semesters and Of 2 semesters in Every Year of 4 year B.tech Degree Course. As Semesterwise which is held 6months gap,but as per the University syllabus that was not a 6 month Course by going Regular(75%) Attendance alogwith Lab Report, Assignments, Responsibilities of Class And Placemets( Though I was CR and PR from 3rd year in My Department,there was various responsibilities but no job guarantees)
Placement Experience
Job Opportunities in Core(Civil Engineering) Department are very less. There are IT companies which are recruiting us. But If you Are an potential student, after 4 years of Studying Huge level of CE Subjects are you wanted to shift Civil to IT sector? This was unfare for us. The Higher Authorities always say Core Company will came but when (after passing out or during College Days) that they couldn't confirm. And after we all passed out from college, Placement figure of CE 2014-18 Batch was 4 out of 140.
College Events
As i say we are newcomers ,i.e. Our Department was New, So there was no Separate Department fest or Tech fest for us. But for other Dept. they are happens todo. Avenir, Tech Fest Combination of all Department which happens in April- May. I was Event Head in Avenir 2k17 from our department. Mesmerizer, Cultural fest of College which might be Stooped for not spending Money for Fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As Private College Fees Structure was relatively high. We have to pay approx 45k/Semester of total 8nos. But that much amount was not enough for College Authorities to brought a Core Comapany which could recruit many of our Civil Engineers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah if you are Ecomically Backward u can avail the Tution fee Waiver(TFW) during filling up Online Exam form of Entrance Exam(WBJEE). Otherwise I think College will not help you to get a loan or other facility. They Want money to reach of ultimate level of them. Private Colleges Won't Bother for Anyone.
Campus Life
Our Departmental Lab was Good. Extracurricular activites like NSS are there but I think that for Show off only. As I love to play Cricket thats why Me and Some of mates made a group to play Cricket in College ground. In Case of now College arranges some Indoor and Outdoor games because as of now In Semester there wil marks added for Extra Curricular Activities. But it's noy effective for us.
Alumni/Alumna
Don't know We are not get any farewell or Alumni.In Case of Other Department might be there. but not for Civil. We are just Do our job, And get the Degree only. nothing else or helpful from Authorites.
Faculty
As I Say Our CE Department was newly opened (1st batch of 2012-14) and We are 3rd Batch of Our Department So there are very less Experienced Faculties. Some of those are good. But I thought that higher Authorities of Our College One Sided our Dept. As newly opened.
